This is a closer look at the PNI HP82. I have had it a few weeks now and wanted to use it a bit more before making another video on it.
I really like this. In this video I show how the fucntion button works and what it does, along with all the features and functions of the radio.

My first CB in the early 80’s was a handheld, a Harvard 10-4 convoy, 2 channels, 14 and 30. Bulky thing with a long telescopic whip and I had really good fun using it in the summer when off school. I would love to have had something like this new PNI back in those days. I think if I did I would have had to change my handle to “the dogs bollocks” 🤣 thanks for the review, it has brought back so many good memories

Pleased it was a good review for you. Yes, I still have my Harvard 40ch cb. Loved it. Just hated how much it cost for the batteries ! CBs have moved on so much haven’t they ? I live the old stuff which maybe you saw in one of my previous videos. Live the new stuff too. 👍

Thunderpole TX with a diffrent name.Great handheld easy to use

Your right Brian. It’s a great handheld to use. However the thunderpole tx can be expanded to export mode. A few more frequencies. But the quality and performance is the same.

Great video are these radio as good as a midland Alan 42 I do have the midland Alan 42 it's a pain having to Put in AA pencil battery's in will that be the same with the pin escort Hp 82 just asking

Hey, thanks very much for this review! I've been seriously considering gettinf this radio. I live in Canada, and unless I'm mistaken, the dutch CB band plan is the same as Canada/US band plan (and maybe some others, Poland maybe?) So I think it should work with our systems here. If you know that not to be the case, please let me know. Cheers!

Is this radio usable in the U.S.? Was thinking about getting a thunderpole but no one can tell me if it's compatible with cb's in the states.

Without a doubt. On a previous video I shows that was the case. Strange but it’s true. I’m just about to upload a video on the power output on the PNI PH82

@@Shack-time yes in my opinion the stock antenna is bad i have the same antenna on it now as you used in the video you did with lewis the one you use for that porta pack radio the black one i really wanna buy the telescope antenna you used in that video but i cant find it in here lol
