That is a awesome model! I don't have this model in my collection, but I do have the one from the 1998 race. It's a baby blue and white color with "calsonic" on the doors and it's #32.

yeah same here but did you know they took away some detail from the original release? i was shocked when i found out. still hugely detailed but probably 20-30 parts down on the 1st release

I used to have this model, beautiful. It is one of the most derailed models out there. Almost on pair with with EXOTO. The only thing problem this test version is that unfortunately, it has the exhausts on the place. The exhausts should be on the back of the car, not on the sides.

Exhausts are on the back in the road version. To cut down weight the race version has shortened exhausts, like the actual car

No, the test cars had the exhaust in the back. ACO made nissan change that after pre quali.. and it was the reason the cars got slower and had overheating problems in the race. Otherwise they might have won le mans 97. For the model this means its not correct, this style exhaust was only established for the race when they had the Red Black livery.

This is a excellent model, I have the Black/Red Calsonic version, I always wanted the Blue checkered Calsonic version but I don't think AUTOart ever released it.
