Okay I randomly had this video plopped in front of me by youtube and decided to watch cause why not. You calling out at the end "I have no idea why you'd be watching unless your actively collecting" made me cackle. Because I am not, and do not have any plans to collect yellow at all. I just find weird niche information interesting is my only excuse XD So thanks for giving me more of that.
Just came across this video. I have my original box and game from when I was a kid and just so you know my box is the white ESRB logo but the game is USA-1 with a black ESRB logo. Now I am not sure if they were just using those boxes with a second reprint of the game. This 100% mine I never re-bought the game or any components. I remember getting it shortly after its release (the spring of 1999 do not remember which month) as my red version was lost in a car fire. My manual is the USA-2. I hope this helps you and your community. What you are saying logically makes sense but I am sure nintendo just did whatever to get the game out the door as it was flying off shelves.
Does the first print always include the Pokemon stadium insert? I see many "CIB" listings online that lack this piece. Your video shows this insert. I have seen one other listing online with it and can't tell if it goes both ways or if the listings without this piece simply aren't fully completed.
