The true story of a PTSD-afflicted veteran drawn into a life of addiction and bank robbery, from college dropout to army medic in Iraq, anchored only by his true love.
@@jayblack854 I don't have ptsd and not a soldier, so I don't know what's good for them and I don't speak for them. But before doing anything that is known to most probably trapped you in an addiction cycle, is something to be greatly reflected upon before starting to use it.
@@jayblack854 personally I think I would rather just suffer through the trauma naturally without drugs than to have someone lock me up. If there is a risk I would get locked up I would never seek help in the first place. I have seen things that have really traumatized me in the past although not war related. Its (should be) up to personal choice which you prefer. For the case in this movie, I think the real problem was probably to escalate the use rather than taking it at all
A life without purpose always leads to chaos, dissatisfaction and willful imprisonment. He didn't even realize he had the medical knowledge to work in a hospital.
@@InvasionAnimation The issue is that the medical training provided may only correlate to CNA or a paramedic, it is sad to think that the para medic who will save lives makes less than working at a McDonald's in the US Sounds crazy but its truth, also the hospital like most businesses in the US almost view service in the military as a "gap" rather than experience on the resume of a freshly transitioning servicemen.
Thank you for sharing this. I went ahead and paused your review after hearing how cool the movie was and watched it instead...and wow...its now one of my faves...so thank you again.
@@VaibhavShewale in my case its almost never, like I can go years without and even most of the few times I took it, didnt really need it that much and Im not sure it helped. And like 2 times in my life outside the dentist I used painkillers. Not that I never get sick, but I recover naturally. Sometimes medicine is needed, but I think many people have too low threshold for using it and in the long run it ends up being worse
