It's been a while since I've done a fully drawn video and I missed it a lot but also WOW forgot how many drawings it takes haha...still, it was really fun!!
So no one's gonna talk about how this video started into child-like cuteness in the beginning but slowly descended into grown adult depression? And then it just ended??💀
Its really nice how comfortable they are with their femininity. Some girls think being too girly is "cringey" or "too weak". Im a tomboy but I absolutely LOVE girly things. Flowery dresses, Strawberry earrings, magical girls, shoujo anime, dolls, and pink everything! Hearing others say its cringey makes me so mad Im glad theyre letting others be comfortable with being girly just by being themselves
yeah!!!! it's so nice to see!!! it's something I've personally been figuring out as I've been exploring my femininity for the first time really (im trans, never really had much of an identity to express while I could only be masculine 💀) and it's been rough trying to be myself while also avoiding judgement. But when I have found moments of comfort to express myself (I'm also a strawberry girl- LMAO), it's SO freeing. So seeing stuff like this really makes me happy!!
they says like let girls be masculine and be themselves!! and then turns to girls who like cute and sweet things and say you're just trying to get attention from men!! and im like bruh how can you be so hypocritical, just because she doesnt want to look masculine doesnt mean she looking for attention
@@harutoSpring sometimes they also say girls are trying to be masculine to be "easy" then also say the same thing with feminine women. like bruh women just cant win
All in favor of a Collab comic with all of them (Emily, Lily, and Wolfy) as magical girls and each taking turns making a comic strip in each of their unique and wonderful art styles, raise you hand
poor boi looks like he is regretting his past choices in life. Like “Oh damn, I left the tap water running for to long when I was 8, that must have increased my parents water bill.”
I bet it's because Emily never finishes her sweets, so Connor contemplating how much he's going to end up eating. Cuz those are huge stacks of desserts that Emily is prolly gonna take like a single bite from
My theory is that he's just a cuck. I honestly don't understand why Emily is dating daidus when it's extremely clear Connor is into her. Jesus that's sad.
I find that so attractive in people! Love what you love like they said in the video life is short and other’s opinions don’t matter in the end of life ❤
yes!!!!! honestly they don't even need to be like fully drawn out like this one was, like these are super super super nice and I LOVED this video, and at the same time I imagine they take a lot of time and effort to make (like that is a LOT of drawings!!!). It'd still be super cozy if she and the guest were just drawing random things while in call together hanging out or something like that, and it just flipped between their perspectives as appropriate, and maybe some drawn out things for specific moments or little sprites that change faces at times. That'd still be super cute!! >w
@@Triforceman1 Yeah and I realise (after rewatching this for the third/fourth time) - most of the time the eyes are visible but they just occasionally disappear
Daidus is kind of a weird dude but if they ever hang out, Daidus would probably look like the sanest perskn ever 💀 As long as they don't talk about waifu tastes or something, Michael would overwhelm him probably 😂
we need to see a double date comfy talk with Lily & Michael and Emily & Daidus where Michael and Daidus just shitpost the entire time while Lily and Emily talk abt more fruits
The last things Lily said hit kinda hard. Life isn't an anime where in the end eveyone are friends. She went through a lot these years. She still makes jokes, laughs, sings but she is a lot more mature and aware of how cruel the world can be sometimes. And to be honest, I like her that way. I grew up with her videos, started drawing for the fun not for the praise, discovered other RU-vidrs that I love because of her. I don't know when but the day when I'll stop watching her videos or she will stop making content might come. Nothing is immortal. But I'm glad that she had played a part in my life.
This felt like a love letter to Mahou Shoujo fans. The transition from Cardcaptor Sakura hopefulness, to Madoka Magica depression was something. The last few seconds alone were pure Revolutionary Girl Utena existential dread.
Lol I would love that, Daidus and Michael talking about their gfs having grandma fashion lmao (Also I ain't making fun of them, I have grandma fashion tho I have it worse because I am a male lmao)
As someone with severe depression & anxiety I very much relate to what was said in the ending. I relate to Homura too much in general. I plan to do a cosplay of her one day partically bc of that.
Imagine how nice it would be if everyone had an Emily in their life! 😌🍓 I think she'd have a very successful niche to start her own podcast. Fangirling over things that people think you shouldn't at a certain age.
Some of her videos are really just animated podcast so I don't think it'll be that hard for her to start doing that. And would totally tune in to as everyone she makes
This video is so aesthetic, cute, and is SUCH a hard core vibe. I kept pausing it to stare at your drawings! And rewinding it to look at things over and over again! I will be rewatching this video for months. I am also a grown woman figuring out how to work cute things into my life. So, thank you for this video, from the bottom of my heart. But you know, like low-key.
If you know how to sew (and/or have a sewing machine) and you know a place where you can buy cute fabric, you could learn to make your own stuff ✨ Last October, I made some pastel overalls, but I was SO self-conscious about wearing them in public that they just hung around in my closet 😖 One day, I was like: "F*ck it! I'm wearing it to work!" (I work at an elementary school.) I got SO MANY compliments 💖 It was the best feeling~ My next project is gonna be a skirt made out of this pretty mermaid scale pattern 😋
this talk reminded me of some of my worries. because, i’m turning 31 this year, and i’m like, still into cute things, anime, manga… and a lot of my friends and just.. people i know who are the same age as me or even younger, are all like starting their families.. having kids and all that.. but i just want to continue collecting manga, playing games, buy cute things and all.. sometimes its super relieving to hear other people feel the same way i do 🥲 but yeah.. this was a pretty cute talk! I enjoyed listening to both of you ❤
@Pyranut NOW I DON'T FEEL AFRAID OF WATCHING BABY SHOWS WITH THEM LIKING CUTE THINGS WHAT'S WRONG WITH WATCHING BABY SHOWS THANK YOU @Emirichu & @Lilypichu FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO NLW I DON'T FEEL ASHAMED OF WATCHING BABY SHOWS ANYMORE 😊😊😊🫡
Teatime? Nah, this strawberry and magical girl talk time. Emi and Lily talking *very* enthusiastically about these two very specific things got me smiling because I guarantee we all get it.
Yes! I love hearing people speak so passionately about special interests and ideas they have! I’m so glad they talked about the “cute stuff” issue too - it’s a universal problem, y’know? Everyone who likes “cute stuff” over the age of 7 has had some sort of experience like that where people just assume it’s a phase to outgrow or it means you’re trying to act younger than you are, like no dude? I just like bright colors and cute little plushies, what of it? 🍓 (Needless to say, I felt seen lol)
Here’s the thing, as someone that’s lived in Korea for 5 years, strawberry season in Korea and Japan is in winter because it’s too hot and humid for them to be grown in summer, but it’s also too cold in winter, so those strawberries are grown basically in types of hot houses. I’m from a town in California that grew a lot of strawberries for the region, and now I live in France. Strawberries need direct sun to really develop their color and flavor. In my home town we would buy strawberries from the farms themselves. The first time I tried Korean winter strawberries I was super disappointed, I’m sorry, lol, they tasted like water to me, I even tried some that were bought directly from farmers (since I lived in the countryside in Korea) and from fancy department stores. There was a flavor but it was so subtle that it was nonexistent.
i love this! i always liked your drawn conversations like the childhood crush series, and this video hits the same vibe in my eyes. additionally, I adore your updated stuff. i think its very pretty! keep it up, emily!
My two favorite creators collab together and y’all are my favorite BECAUSE YALL HAVE THE SAME AESTHETIC INTERESTS I LIKE, PINK, CUTE THINGS AND STRAWBERRIES 😭‼️ THANK UUUU I LOVE THIS VIDEO 🥹💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Madoka Magica was my first emotional rollercoaster manga experience and I don't regret it one bit. I will proudly say that Final form Madoka is best girl for saving the whole world
These cute, cozy, little podcast like videos are super relaxing to me and I've rewatched this one and your pop up cafe video (the first one) so many times
