THIS MUST HAVE BEEN SO MUCH WORK MY GOD. You are so awesome for doing that. I am so tired rn and lying in bed but wanted to make sure you know your efforts are appreciated before I fall asleep
🌚🌓Fantastic guide! Thank you for including your personal description for each shadow! I’m using it as a QVC-type buyers’ guide exhibition lol. Taking notes and making a (growing) wishlist!! Appreciate you so much!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This video was so helpful! Thank you for the hard work 🌕🌙🌜🌝🌛 I rewatch your other guides all the time and I can’t wait to watch this one over and over too 😂❤️
Ohhhh so I see your two biggest fans made a cameo at 0:18 😊 OK so I have lots of comments! - First of all this video is amazing. Taking the time to show comparisons by shift as well as base is so meticulous. This is gonna be a great resource for so many people - it’s SO interesting to see the difference between how shadows look in the pan vs swatched. I saw a common theme of the shadow looking more pigmented in the pan than the swatch (that’s not a bad thing but very useful to see the difference) - I am looking forward to seeing what Terra Moons does in the future. As you mentioned, there are some shadows where differences are minimal - yet they have only released 3 of the Caesium formula. I’ve been begging them to do a sparkly black for a while. - I applaud you for suggesting ways the brand can improve, such as skin tones and swatch comparisons. How the brand responds will be telling as you only want the best for them and it’s constructive criticism. Oh, a moon emoji - MY BUTT 🍑
THANK YOUUU 🫶🫶 I agree a lot of them look way more opaque in the pan and end up being semi sheer (which is a happy surprise for me personally lol) and YES I HOPE THEY DO MORE SHIMMERS I would love a true bronze, charcoal gray, deep chocolate brown, taupe, and true silver
🌙 I’m a bare face girlie (aka just lazy) randomly jumped down the indie cosmetic rabbit hole yesterday and have been glued to your channel for approx 17hrs as i build up my Terra Moons and Clionadh carts. This vid made my day- tysvm
Omg you will not regret it. I used to just put eyeshadow on as a chore basically but indie makeup is so fun, you’re gonna love wearing eyeshadow after trying them! My two favorite brands ❤
Thank you so much for this video, Riley! You have no idea how helpful this was for me. I watch almost all the indie single shadow content I can find, but I rarely come across anything like this. I place a lot of small orders from Terra Moons and I really love a lot of their duochromes and shimmers (along with their multis of course), but I can never tell what kind of finish any of those shadows will have just by looking at a swatch on their website and with older videos, our standards were a little different a few years ago, so it’s good to know which shadows have stood the test of time. I’m with you on that Palladium formula and I hope TM comes out with some more shimmers just like those. I had my wishlist with me and added/subtracted multiple shades. My boyfriend watches all your videos with me btw 😅
Speaking of purples, a cool toned purple duochrome I enjoy from this brand is Purple Clouds. It's nothing ground breaking, but the formula is so buttery smooth, and it's one of their more basic shadows I really love because it suits my coloring.
What an epic video❤❤❤❤ absolutely amazing! It really helped big time to decide shades as they’re very pricey plus taxes , can’t thank u enough for this !! Fantastic job ❤❤❤
You talked me into buying Rubidium, Palladium, and Enceladus for the sale when none were on my radar. A lot of our preferences have good overlap, so I'll definitely continue to be checking for your content.
I love all my shades from Terra Moons! Doesn't crease , apply smoothly ( at least what i have) and they have a lot of unique shades along indie brands. TM, Clionadh and Glamshop are my top 3 ! ❤
thank you so much for this! i wish this video had been around at the start of my multi journey! this is SO GOOD for those shades i have been unsure of, or ones i missed. and thanks for mentioning not supporting JD glow. i’m sad about it, but no longer support either.
🌜 Thanks for all the work you put into making this video! Terra Moons is my favourite brand for single shadows and I'm always trying to narrow down what shades to purchase next so this video is incredibly helpful 😊
This is great! I own so so so many tm shades & they're definitely one of if not my fav indiebrand ever. Im a little bummed the rewards program changed😢 especially since im a broke b, but i will say, tm recently sent me four of the new shades as a gift & i was so grateful. Such a great brand 🫶🌙 & btw TOTALLY agree about atomic division! I only picked up three initially from that launch & that was one of them because i knew right away it was special! Almost no one talks about it, but it's one of the most unique shades i own!
I love how Laura goes out of her way to show appreciation for loyal customers and is always receptive to feedback! I was disappointed to see the change to the rewards program as well but I’m glad they still kept a program at all, idk of any other indie brands that have that type of rewards program off the top of my head
It’s weird but my protostar looks different from yours. Mine you can mostly just see the dark green base underneath and not much of the shift except scattered pieces. I got it based on this video and was surprised when I swatched it. Oh well, maybe I got a bad batch.
@@seekingshifts yeah that’s a good point, they are pricey precious babies. Maybe I’ll send them a pic and see what they think. It’s not terrible looking but it definitely looks different from your swatches and others I’ve seen and I know you swatches are on point because I bought a bunch of other shadows based on you and Millie’s recs. 😆
I've been watching your videos like crazy trying to decide what to buy. I'm a beginner with makeup so the real foiled flakey "piecy" shadows probably arent for me although I love the shine. I used to use a liquid with my Stilla foiled shadows to smooth them out. I wonder if i could use Mac fix plus or a liquid medium with the chunky TM shadows? I went to place my Clionadh order today and all of a sudden 3 shades I wanted are sold out. I have been waiting like a dummy since December for Clionadh to restock so I could pay for shipping once. In Canada it's ridiculous. I can pay less shipping to order from the US! Anyhow I started looking at TM but they look really foily piecey on the website. Like the cosmos. I could be wrong, but it appears to me that the clionadh shades are smoother. Then theres shine by SD. I love some of their stuff and I can actually drive to go pick them up if I order but I hear they are a different formula, like real dry. Also, I don't know if they have anything like the glitter ones Clionadh has. I picked a few from your collab because they look sparkly. Honestly for a beginner trying to use these which brand would you recommend? I'm pretty sure SBSD has the dupes for some of the popular shades I wanted from Clionadh. I just don't want to spend hundreds on eyeshadows I've never tried then find out they're all flakey and piecy and spotty. Like they take a lot of work to make them opaque. Great videos by the way. Very helpful. Guess I'll keep watching 😂 Maybe I'll just try a couple SBSD and wait 6 months for Clionadh to restock again ffs. I'm kinda nervous the TM shades I want are too textured. Like Diadem looks like it swatches smoother than the Cosmos. I could be wrong tho?
This video helped me so much!! Thank you! ❤ Do you have any recommendations for a true purple iridescent? One that doesn’t lean super blue or super pink. I love soda swamp from DC but it’s more pink.
For some reason I feel like there are very few TRUE purple iridescents! The ones I have are either pink leaning or indigo leaning. I think Euphoria from TM Is supposed to be a true purple but sadly I do not have that one yet
This was amazing! I bought Terra Moons in 2020 because i needed shifty shadows to put on on my eyes since the pandemic was lurking in every corner☹️ With that being said and if you may answer coming across my message. I’m looking for a red, gold orange multi-chrome. I also would want a pink to orange or gold as well no green if possible. I’m obsessed with those shifting colors, but I don’t know from what brand to get it from. From Terra moons I have: Tidal Flare Red Giant Sundazed Mirage Blood Moon Head Rush Looking Glass If anyone has a suggestion please feel free to answer! Thank you!
What a great video. Bravo! I watched the whole thing. For the life of me, I have one shade you didn't mention, it's a royal blue called "Celestial." I wish It was the Celestial cloudscape that you talked about, I probably got it on sale. Didn't want to spend the money. This is HUGELY helpful in looking at before buying shades. I wish I had seen it before I made my purchase, but I got a few good winners that I really like. I also missed the sale so will have to wait for the next big sale before I buy more, as they are honestly very expensive per shade. Thank you so much.
I appreciate this video so much! I made a $$$ order yesterday based on the comparisons & info here and used your code too. :D Probably still gonna end up with a dupe or two amongst them from the Sublunar shift family as you called it but it's so hard with these indies and not being able to see them in person. If anyone from Terra Moons is reading: While Terra Moons has more total pictures/online buzz I guess, Devinah has more consistently-lit and more consistently-formatted/placed swatch photos. TM, Please consider more consistent swatch comparison photos on the product page like Devinah for the sake of how long it takes to make a cart. It took me like an hour for the Devinah cart but like 5 hrs between a few days for the TM cart because I checked a ton of swatch photos elsewhere and RU-vid videos ;_;
I’m on my third time watching this since you posted originally. No one and I mean no one can do an entire swatch video like you. This is sooooo detailed and so in depth.
🌛it was SO good! i live in Europe, so it's very expensive to order indi shadows from USA. i have to make sure that i order something unique. i will definitely use your code whe I will place my order. Thank you
Thank you for this amazing presentation. I know so many of us ar very bias about Terra Moon's😅🥰. I love the grunginess they bring. I'm not yet into the flaky shadows from them even though I like the pressed flakies from Copacetic. I think it's because I don't want to pay that much for a shade that is gonna be difficult (although also fun) to use. 🤣🤣 I'll admit I was buying some shades just to see how they looked and boy I got some amazing shades like Midnight Winter by taking the gamble. Sometimes you get really surprised at how much more wonderful these shades are in real life. I am just getting into feeling comfortable layering shades so it's so good to get pointers from you.
I am bias towards Terra Moons too. I love them. I have no relationship with the brand. I’m just a customer who loves their formula and shades. I purchase all my shades.
I agree with the shade and skintone comparisons!! It's hard for me to decipher how the shadow will look like on my skintone. So I have to do tons of research before I decide which shade to pick up...next. Lol
Thank you veeery much for your video and all the informations, details and timestamps ! This is a must-see, and I will come back to it everytime I want to do a Terra Moon order 😁😍
🌙 not only am I still watching, I also had to rewind and get a notepad out so I could try to make purchasing decisions wisely at the end. My screenshots needed more context ❤ amazing work thank you so much
Thank you so much for this extremely detailed video with great comparisons . It must have taken a week or so to film and edit it What I like about you most is your very sarcastic yet direct and very funny. Thank you.
