"A certain villain comes back from the past and certain things happen to some characters..." lol that is the *best* non-spoiler description of *Fatal Attractions* ever because it could also apply to *The Twelve* - *Ages of Apocalypse* - *House of X* - the list goes on. I'm dying here. Man I have *Child's Play* in hardcover ("Marvel Select" edition) and love showing that one off, I think Fabian Nicieza is one of the most under-rated writers ever!

I can’t thank you enough for these reading order videos. Not only is the information super helpful in regards to collecting but also the little titbits of background knowledge you sprinkle throughout. For example, I had no idea McFarlane left Marvel over that particular page. I remember how impactful that scene was reading the original comic 😱 really showcased Shatterstar’s brutality compared to the others. What’s confusing me is the editor asked for it to be removed but in the final print he still stabs him in the eye. So did McFarlane get his way but leave regardless? Thanks again Omar ✌🏻

All these videos are very helpful. Honestly any video where you're opening, showing, and talking about any X-Men related books is great, fun, and enlightening. So thanks and keep it up! An idea: you could just do single book rants and rambles with spoilers, just mention spoilers in the titles. I'd love to see a re-review of books.
I wish that fatal attractions DJ was chromium like the orihinal singles cover , batman metal hardcovers did it .. this videos are super helpful for newer collectors kus reading order gets crazy especially with x-men universe
i think i may have to get some custom dustjackets made so i can put cable & x-force and deadpool & x-force all by each other instead of cable with the "c" titles and deadpool in the "d" titles

I just finished reading X-Force 38-43. I go to 44, expecting it to pick up where 43 finished, and I couldn't have been more wrong!!! Is there really no material that covers what happened after the crystallization wave hit the team at the end of 43? 43 had such great characterization in it! I want to know what happened next!
Oh man, to read those comics from 90's is a mess, specially if it is related to mutants lol. I had the oportunity to read everything since 1992 when I started to collect and lots of stuff before this time, like Silver Age and Bronze Age. My collection is very big, something around 17,000 brazilian comics nowadays. When I want to read something from 90's is really confusing because you need to jump from comics to comics. That is why I am really enjoying these Epic Collection because I just have to read without worry if I am missing some part of the story.
I love when Marrow wears her blue and green costume with all the bones, takes me back to being a kid. I don't like her redesign, it seems contrary to the entire point of x-men to "pretty up" a mutant like her.
What so shattershot is after executioner song ? On the epics its included in vol.1 before executioner song but I skipped it anyway kus it was only one part of a 4 parter , I figured I'll read it wen I read the hardcover
Oh, and for a Cable-centric reader as far as I know all of Cable's main series issues from #1 to (nearly?) #100 are collected and read in the following order: Cable Classic Vol. 1 Cable Classic Vol. 2 Cable Classic Vol. 3 Cable & X-Force Classic Vol. 1 X-Man: The Man Who Fell to Earth X-Men: Prelude to Onslaught X-Men: The Complete Onslaught Epic (Vol. 1-2-3-4) X-Men: Operation Zero Tolerance Cable: The Hellfire Hunt Deathlok: Rage Against the Machine Cable: The Nemesis Contract X-Men: The Twelve X-Men: Ages of Apocalypse X-Men: Powerless Cable: Revolution There's a few more after that from the first entire Cable series (Dream's End, Soldier X, etc.) but they're after 1999 I think? These are the ones I have that gives me an unbroken #1-#100 read, plus all connecting material. Obviously I didn't have the money to buy all the omnis :( so these are trade paperback editions which, when bought this way, collectively cost just a little bit less than getting the HC omnis. The X-Men trade in between "Nemesis Contract" and "The Twelve" is called "The Shattering", but it doesn't contain any Cable issues.
Omar do you think that Marvel will reprint these omnibuses, when they're already going to reprint Uncanny X-men omnibuses and release Excalibur and New Mutants?
I'm really tempted to hunt these now. Would you say it's an investment worth revisiting or is it closer to a product of its time best left in the past?
I hope they reprint the Posehn and Duggan Deadpool Omnibus with a better binding in the future :) Haven`t bought it since it has a lot of people complaining about it ^^ Heard its a good run, so it is a possibility for a reprint?

Omar, I have a "paper quality" question for you. Does the "X-man; the man who fell to earth" tpb have the same paper quality than the 'Cable and X-force classics/ onslaught rising' trades have or is it more in line with the crappy newsprint quality like the "Age of Apocalypse Prelude" tpb type, one of the worst TPB in terms of quality I've ever seen in my whole life, at least after the 2001 quality improvement/ step-up Marvel started showing in its collected editions (in fact from 2001 to 2004 I noticed Marvel used one of the best -thickiest and glossy paper I've ever seen in tpb editions), and obviously, I'm not taking into account the "tpb dark years" ,i.e., the worst time for collected editions, from 1996 to 2000 (curious thing is that 1995 trades had a vey good paper quality, long before Marvel started with certain infamous problems)
I wished I had gotten the X-Force Omnibuses when they came out as well as the Xover Events mentioned on this video. Is there any change Marvel will reprint these books?
"Not Deadpool Volume X" would be the perfect title for each Marvel omnibus with no bother and all goals achieved... Well, except for Deadpool omnibusseseses. These should be called "Not Thanos Volume X".
Omar, can you please check if last mission of Freedom Force is published in full in first X-Force omnibus ? I have New Warriors Omnibus and there Marvel did not publish it at all, even if Kings of Pain was there main story.

Just read the X-Force omnibus and any page not drawn by Liefeld is such a relief :) Strangely enough on your video it looks better than when I was reading it in person (maybe the distance between book and eye vs distance between book and camera and eye?). Now to decide whether to continue the X-Force omnis or switch to X-Men first in order not to be spoiled for Fatal Attractions etc.
