Sounds like a wholesome, fairly well-balanced Roman Catholic monk's life, although I've heard that there are times when the monks work their scapulars off.

Not ALL are called to this life. However going alone for a time in the Wilderness on a camping trip is a type of a Monastic personal retreat.

🌃 The most expensive residence in the world is called Antilia, located in Mumbai, which can only be accessed by its owner by passing through thickets of security apparatus. Antilia cost over a billion dollars. . However : 🏞️ The most valuable residence in the world is called Tranquility , which is located in Contemplation and can only be accessed by Silence. ...the cost? ...well,...🤔...money doesn't really enter into the equation. Love, however, does. That is the ultimate price and the ultimate reward. Blessed are they who dwell therein. : 🏕️🏞️🕊️

I wish that I can join this way of life. Parents refused to give blessings on my intention. Help me please.

In his book Seven Storey Mountain, Thomas Merton before his conversion to Catholicism, he describes the statuary of the Roman Empire Ruins as vapid, boring, and semi pornographic. Even the bathhouses of Diocletian (who caused St Lucy to be Martryed, gauging her eyes out, because she wanted to give herself to Christ), used to be a Carthusian Monastery. At that time he also discovered a ruined Christian Chapel with beautiful Frescoes still visible, and from there he started visiting Catholic Churches in Rome just to view their Artwork. He discovered that they were full of spirituality vitality and earnestness and power, serious, alive, eloquent and urgent in all that they had to say. Without pretentiousness, without fakery, and had nothing theatrical about it. It's solemnity was made all the more astounding by its simplicity................... p.118-122

I though their vows were stability, obedience and conversion. No poverty or chastity as separate vows

The vows for other orders are poverty, chastity and obedience. But these ones you've mentioned are for Benedictine monks.

@CatholicCourier When Jesus died on the cross from his perspective is what I will offer you. When Jesus died on the cross the whole world went dark and his soul came out of his body. Jesus then heard a clicking sound as the pitch got louder he finally saw a blue Angel that had no legs it placed its hands on ether sides of his bodies head and sampled all his memories from his bodies brain then Jesus looked at his body on the cross and watched as his body was loosing heat, you see Jesus could see with new eye's and as he watched his body lose heat he could see his nervous system he could see his blood that was still warm in his veins. He watched as the heat from his body dissipated and his body turned black and indistinguishable from the log he was attached to then he dropped down into the Earth into a place called Sheol. Jesus looked down and beneath him was another Angel an Ophanim which is a wheel Angel that looked like molten gold that spun counter clockwise the Ophanim had eyes on it's side and was very beautiful to behold. The Ophanim held him in place so that he could not move, it did this so that the other Angel could do his job. The blue Angel then moved over to Jesus and placed his hands on ether sides of Jesus head sampling all of Jesus memories so he could report his findings to the Dominion Angel that would soon be there with them. Then the blue Angel moved out away from Jesus about 10 feet then the Dominion Angel appeared and the blue Angel with his Angelic Sounds reported his findings to the Dominion Angel after that the Dominion ordered the blue Angel to open a portal back to Jesus body lying in his tomb. Then the Dominion Angel left and the blue Angel came back over to Jesus and turned to Jesus left looking away from him the Angel opened a portal using his Angelic Sounds although Jesus could not hear him making the sounds that is what happened. Now that the portal was open Jesus could see his body in the portal just lying there In his bed he was younger and still alive you see this was Jesus at a younger age and it was so ordered that the Ophanim release Jesus and he did and Jesus was released Jesus then ordered all the old testament saints to be woken up in Sheol and then he ordered that a place be made for each one of them in heaven. Then Jesus moved over to that place called the bottomless pit and walked across the lava into the room called hell. Jesus saw a endless line of people all of them in hell on their knees with their heads placed on a platform and their hands placed on ether sides of their heads locking them into their own personal hell in side their own minds. Jesus then ordered the Servitor Angel to wake up all of them that were closest to him he spoke with them for some time and what was said to them only they know not even the Servitor could hear what Jesus was saying to them. After Jesus spoke with the people in hell he moved out back to the portal and placed his left hand up towards the portal facing his palm right at it then widening his fingers open and a great boom was heard as the portal activated then Jesus took his right hand and made some kind of gesture with it and began to fast forward the portal to his body lying lifeless in his tomb. Jesus then spoke a language known only to God and the council of Angels. This language upgraded Jesus body to be much like that of an Angel and a human all in one. Jesus had to upgrade his body because if he hadn't he would need to wait for years to get all his memories back because Sheol is a place of forgetfulness and it takes time for the body and the souls memories to return. Jesus then moved into the portal piercing the Veil between life and death thus completing his resurrection. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XXvwcZrnIUU.html
