Contemplative in Action: A Friar Life 

Love this series. I was accepted to the postulancy two days ago so it's wonderful to see the ministries of my(God willing) future brothers. Thank you, Br. Casey.

This short film has been a real blessing for me today, it inspires me more to seek God's will about becoming a Franciscan

Today, On Things I Wish Existed In the Church I Attend: A Place Like This. This video is one of your most beautiful, Brother Casey. I found myself moved and stopped the video before finishing to say a quiet prayer and remember our Savior. Thank you.

Ironically this helped me in some things I have bern struggling with as a scientist and considering how to put my knowledge about Creation to use in service to the Lord. The Lord's work is only more profound and more beautiful, the deeper you look, assuming you have the eyes to see it for what it is. Praise and glory be to our Wonderous Lord and God. If all this here is but a sample of His goodness, let me say, the words of Sacred Scripture are certainly true. Eye has not seen and ear has not heard and no heart has imagined what God had ready for those who love Him. Walk with our Creator and do whatever He tells you, for no sacrifice is too great for knowing He Who made the heavens and the earth in all their array. God bless you all. And may we all walk with Him, every moment of every day of our entire lives. With Mary, through Christ, Our One and Only Lord and Savior, now and forever. Amen

This might be your best edition yet Deacon Casey. Fr. Riley's witness is great. And I like how deep he goes into his vocation and his friar life.

Your cinematography is impeccable.

I love this series, Father Casey! I binged it over the course of a few days' dishes washing and now I wish there were more. I think that this is exactly what a lot of folks look for when they start to discern this vocation. It's a real help. For me, specifically, it contradicted a stereotype I had of Franciscans as having a sort of hive charism; a sacrifice of individuality to the industry or mission of the monastery (e.g. a lot of Franciscan monasteries in Germany brew beer, which is noble in its productivity but not super appealing). So, thank you! I've seen a handful of your other videos but I'll be diving more into the rest of the channel.

I loved watching this series and learning about the work of these Brothers.

Hi, Casey! I have questions. I hope you'll cover these in your future videos. 1. What's the step by step absolute process of God assigning sex to a human? 2. Is it possible that God initially assigned a female sex to an embryo but the original sin had muddled the process, making the embryo male? 3. Can the original sin influence the fertilization process? Say for example, God initially wants the Y-chromosome sperm to fertilize with the X-chromosome egg. But the original sin muddles the process, making the X-chromosome sperm win. Is that possible? 4. Following questions #2 and #3, if the answers are yes, is this the reason why there are intersex, homosexual, and transgender people?
