Employers fire people when they know it is retaliatory and basically challenge an employee to sue. When so few employees have the ability and will to file suit they know the average cost of illegally terminating is not too high to continue doing it as their business practice. I see non profit companies are willing to illegally terminate because the administration and board still get their big salary and bonuses...and the money isn't theirs. Particularly in healthcare settings where they know the government and charities will bail them out when they have another bad year. Nearly all upstate New York hospitals operate at a loss. If they were for profit then taxed and ineligible for the grants they would all go bankrupt. These hospitals are run like legalized mafias.

Vince, Can you explain the limits related to number of employees and if all employees must be based/working in USA. If you are working for a subsidiary, do all employees across all entities count ?

Sarver said the FTC or the NLRB made a "ruling," and Vince referred to an FTC "holding." Sarver and Vince need to clarify those statements. Executive branch agencies cannot make law. What exactly are we dealing with? Did this federal agency follow the correct procedure to establish a federal regulation?
