Lynn Cinnamon ASMR Whispers I watched there movie recently and it also sounded familiar, but they also wrote the movie so maybe there is some truth behind the words
That’s the reality of adulthood. Friends have new responsibilities and schedules don’t add up. Before you know it you hang out only once every 4 months.
I freakin love Brandon so much. Even I felt some type of way seeing their friendship drift away as Jason cements his new relationship with David. It was sad. But Brandon seems to be paving his own path. His videos are so different than the rest of them. He didn’t just jump on the vlog bandwagon because it was quick money. Honestly it was almost guaranteed success for him. But he kept doing his own thing and now has such a unique and interesting channel that is his own. That he doesn’t owe to anyone but himself. Not Liza. Not Jason. And not David. Him and Alex r just a completely different breed of Vlog Squad. I love it.
@K. Laura I think an all-time low was when Jason vlogged recently with that 12-year-old child who sells bows. His channel has really gone down the pan. He may be making $$$ for now, but all that can change overnight. The algorithms are really messing with people's channels and livelihood. Most of Jason's supporters can't stand Trisha in his vlogs and that doesn't look as if it's gonna change, anytime soon. He used to have a decent channel with good content.
@@LXS1303 She will be the death of his channel. sadly. Yet he thinks she brings in the views. He just can't see it. Even her own audience is turning against her now. They see how she's changed for the worse over the past couple of years. She has become an enormous snob with a massive ego.
Um...Jason, you're LIVING the perfect idea for a TV show - TAGLINE: A 'down on his luck', middle-aged divorcee unexpectedly becomes an internet sensation after moving in with a group of 20-something vloggers. THE PITCH: It's like HBO's "Silicon Valley" for the RU-vid industry. The show would center around the unusual friendship of Jason and David's characters, and the crazy shennanigans surrounding their rise to RU-vid stardom. THE TITLE: "Views". You're welcome.
Brandon has a special funny bone unique to him which he must not cast aside when writing movies. It’s not easy to leverage why the Vines worked and carry that into motion pictures, but that is what he must try to do.
maddy 11 lmao Trisha is killing him? He’s a bipolar, divorced with 2 kids, 45 year old youtuber who hangs out with only people half his age, and you’re trying to say that the person he’s in an optional relationship with is actually killing him? Lmao, you really must not know what relationships are like. I love both Jason and Trisha, but to say that Trisha is the only toxic one is just DUMB. They’re both crazy and killing themselves, killing each other is just a small side contributor.
This is super interesting. Although Jason seems miserable and a smidge depressed I’ve never seen him so comfortable around anyone like this. Even down to the way he’s sitting. You can tell that Brandon is one of the only people he feels comfortable enough to be honest and himself around. There’s no fake excitement or pressure to say yes, he’s just like “yeah man life sucks sometimes.” It speaks a million words. Jason should invest more time in Brandon.
It's a true art that he manages to execute perfectly and consistently. I haven't seen executed in such a skillful manner by any other "interviewer"-anywhere.
Kimberly Williamson Well he obviously trusts her to take care of his children a large proportion of the time, so he must trust her immensely. Also, he is the one who’s said those negative things about her, and she has never retaliated online, even though she has the possibility to benefit from it. I doubt she’s insane or significantly unstable. Marriages can be bad without having one person to blame.
I see a lot of comments dissing Trisha for Jason's misery, so I will put here what I said before in another subcomment I agree that Trisha holds him back, but I don't think thats the real issue here.. He needs to believe in what he is capable of.. like he said, he "gave up" in his big dreams of making movies. But that was all before he had any following. If he realized he is not too late to pursue his dream, he would do so, and possibly end the toxic relationship he is in naturally. So no I don't necessarily think its Trish, its about his whole mentality. Its very easy to blame others for one's failed ambitions, but in reality the only person to blame here is Jason himself
Cata okay but listen Jason has no talents in the film industry his movies literally sucked ass they were horrible. If that is the quality of the film he wants to make maybe he should stay as a producer or find another dream.
Didn't even read all..u can believe what u want..but I watch the vlogs..an watch her drive him insane n treat him like shit..he leaves then feels bad n gets back with her..before her he was happy as shit..that's why his fans r blaming her cause we see..how happy he was..then how every word he said she would start arguing..the other day she blocked him from leaving her place in an argument an stood in front of the door for an HR n half screaming not allowing him to leave..she drives him insane..an we all see it
I’ve been waiting for this. It’s been sad to see you guys relationship dwindle a bit. In the old vlogs you would tell him how much you love him and stuff
Well it's his fucking life and he and other youtubers don't need random, nobody little pathetic girls and boys in comments telling them how to live. How about you lot get that in your pathetic needy brains :)
not unpopular very popular trisha is toxic ...anyone who gets close to her always comes out damaged as hell...she is the definition of toxic and she refuses to get help she just blames everyone else
I think Jason underestimates how far he can evolve, or the potential he has to take his platform to make it big... I can totally see him making funny shit with Jonah Hill or stuff like that
@@maddy1143 I agree that Trisha holds him back, but I don't think thats the real issue here.. @@medialunasx I agree with what you say but I feel like his creativity would get sparked again when hes out of this toxic relationship...hes way too drained for anything now hes super talented I truly think he is capable of continuing to succeed
@@maddy1143 Well David did say he's still in love with her. And she seemed quite girly with him on their day out with the children. Love doesn't just disappear when you get divorced. They made children together, had a family life, shared so much, so many memories. It doesn't just go away. They share a bond for life.
You should have a conversation about how Jason has such poor self esteem and is so desperate that he is willing to subject himself to the kind of abusive relationship that no one else on this planet would accept.
yeah its so crazy do none of his friends like tell him that man your relationship is toxic...if my friend was in his situation I would be so scared for him trisha is legit psycho like restraining order psycho
I feel like Jason really ages his self. Like my mom is 49, but you would never guess that. She looks like she's still in her 30s. On the other hand Jason, looks and more importantly ACTS like he's almost 60. Dude do better don't age yourself more than you have to. He always say "I'm old!" "I'm 45" Dude 45 is not old my mom changed careers when she was 44. It's really all in the mind. TBH the time between when FML was shot and now was like what 3 years, but you look at least 10-20 years older. Yeah, you have more shit on your plate now, but that's really not an excuse.
Alanis Allen he seems like such a downer like fuck motive us motive yourself, you’re making yourself Older I don’t enjoy him anymore and lots of People seem to agree. He hates himself how does he expect us to love him
He feels old bc he hangs out with a bunch of kids lol That can't be good for his self esteem in a lot of ways, there's just such a difference in ways of life with that big of an age gap.
Dude is looking back fondly on his terrible marriage now that he knows what life is like when a psychotic partner has their hooks into you and won't let go.
Listen!! I love Views and I love I'm Sorry Dad, but a Jason/Brandon Podcast would be amazing. You guys have fantastic chemistry and seem so genuinely comfortable with each other, it's wonderful to watch. I'm glad Jason has success but I hope he keeps going for his dreams because I find him so funny and real, and I think he deserves every happiness. Love you both x
I used to go to blockbuster when I was a kid and the two things I remember the most was the candy dots and the time I found the Justin Bieber documentary in the horror section
My comment wasn't based solely on looks.. but I am 30 and know tons of people who are in their early 30's that look like they are in their 20's. Myself included. He could easily pass as being 30.
I feel so bad for them. Clearly Jason wants to put food on his families table but at the same time it's killing their friendship. I really hope they *DO* do something together like a full-length film. It would be great. Also it would need Alex's acting and writing because both him and Brandon would make a killer script.
yea its such a toxic situation where literally everything gets him into trouble..they need to end cause it honestly seems like they are not happy at all
But I do love Trish I've watched her 10 years and from that was introduced to "vlog squad" and love Jason and everybody (Brandon particularly cause he likes the Smiths and shit haha) I like Jason and Trish together but ultimately now being a fan of both its not up to me just want them both happy. I just know that comment is trouble because I think that particular one would upset me as well being that he disses marriage so much that would really hurt being Trish. :/
@@jasminemarie5431 is that mentioned in this? (paused at 8 mins to cook for my 3 yr old) or other social media cause im not a twitter or Instagram person. damn.
Nope. he is trying to navigate his bipolar disorder, Trisha's mental illnesses, his constant content based lifestyle, and being a father to two children. He is trying so hard not to disappoint anyone and it's starting to take its toll on him.
I love how these are so real. Just real people talking about real shit. Thats great, in fact I've been craving a movie this real, just very down to earth and honest. A conversation with is a good thing, a good moment of the day. Very wholesome.
Big fan of your friendship with Jason and your work(yes,I also watch the short films),been here since the Du-par's pancake days on Jason's channel. Great episode!
Blockbuster was GREAT! I’m 30 and going to blockbuster at night with your friends or significant other was perfect! Got out of the house. Got to look at all the DVDs and have conversations (or arguments) and end up leaving with 3 DVDs you didn’t come for because the “new release” section would already be empty...you could ask if there were any returns at the register (sometime you’d get lucky) and leave with expensive popcorn that popped in the microwave but came in a “movie theater” bucket. The late fees sucked. My DVD collection has a lot of overpriced blue blockbuster packaging.
Jason is the biggest downer. I get he always says "im old now. I was your guys' age once" but okay still get your shit together. EVERYTHING he talks about is basically about how tough it is on him and how much of a bummer it is.
Jason is a grown up with responsibilities... It sucks balls. I miss being selfish and staying up and not being exhausted...oh wait, this wasn't about me...
Why does Jason always moan about doing anything with friends “ughh I’ll write a movie with you”, “ughh I hate Hamilton but, I got you these super expensive tickets, they’re $10k, don’t forget that. I realllyy don’t wanna go with you but, I got $10k tickets ughhh at least I can write it up for tax returns”. Don’t bother doing things for people if you’re gonna moan about it to their face 🤦♂️ The ticket giving seemed nice in David’s vlog but, then you see how it really went down in Jason’s vlog and it was just awkward af.
This is my favorite one in the series. It’s just watching 2 best friends have a simple, natural conversation. This is the most comfortable I’ve ever seen Brandon on camera. Really heartwarming vid to watch. 😊
If you are regretting giving up just now Jason, try just go for it you are still young enough, don't wait until 60/70s then have the regrets again wishing you'd went for it at this stage. I think its a great time for you.
Maybe one of my favourite conversations. Your comfortably and flow with each other is comforting and relaxing and it's nice to keep up with how you both are going. 😀
Money doesn't buy happiness Jason. Realize the people who are around you and the love they have for you is what's truly important. As long as you have positive, happy, healthy relationships and you're doing something that satisfies you, that's all that matters.
Yooooo whaaaaaaat! I thought you guys we're best friends! I'm glad you guys are talking in this video. You also managed to pull off this feeling of tension but at the same time happiness that you guys are talking again that always comes with talking to old friends.
I loved your guys movie!!! Don't give up at all Jason!!!! I watch your vlogs and content more than some of my og RU-vidrs that I watched every single time they posted. I'll skip one of my ogs and watch your vlogs. Please don't give up.
Your conversations with Jason are my favorite. The way you two play off each other to make each other laugh but also talk about serious things, is really great to watch. Also, please make a feature! Crowd fund it. I will happily donate money to see a full-length movie from you and so would lots of your fans. Fuck studios, they don't know shit, do it all indie. I hope you and Jason make another movie together. FML was really funny and well done. And you guys worked so well together on screen. Your energy together is really good and it's entertaining to watch. You guys are really talented and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.
I love Brandon. One of the few young youtubers making content that is relatable to everyone that watches. Young or old because you can relate the conversations to a younger or older family member and gaining perspective. I would love for someone to have a conversation with Brandon so we know more about him. Also, Jason keep doing what you love. Don't worry about age. Life is too short.
Jason, Im 2 months Older, than you. Since you are around mostly 30&under, Im gonna highly recommend you start taking multi vitamins, dont gorge on the mukbangs no matter how much TP forces you too, that will catch up w her soon enough you dont need to be forced into things you are older and far more exp in life as all of them. You Have to take time for Yourself, not just naps, like literally, be by Yourself, no phone, no cameras, just get a hotel rm somewhere its calm n peaceful and decompress. None of them have kids, child support, real responsibilities. Its so Exhausting, I totally get it. Pisses me off when they try n talk chit about your, our age. Put your foot down with Everyone, Marney will understand so will your kids. Those are the only three that Matter. Its going to be super difficult to go anywhere Alone, be left w your thoughts and no contact or internet but from someone whos been where you are physically mentally financially etc its Vital. Its time David gave back to You and rather than Force you into a super Toxic anxiety ridden situation such as w TP who shouldve gone to jail btw The least they could do is give you some You time. Most jobs are required to gv you paid vaca. Davids been a bit on the seriously loose cannon side from the perspective of his vlogs and what the content is. Thats just not You. Stand your Ground. Cmon man you are the last of the Real Men generation teach these rugrats not to be pussies. I wanna see vlogs where everyone learns to chg a Tire, where nobody is allowed to be on their phones. Its an Addiction. My Dr had me on the heart monitor during a panic attack, I got a text notification, my heart rate soared they literally came into my rm and took my phone because they saw on the monitors how much just that stupid text Sound, affected my heart rate. I wont let anyone be on their phone if they are visiting me, its just flat out Rude. Seriously, from one Elder to another, make a Stand. If I was your sister n heard what TP had done to you re the door, I wouldve kicked her ass and called the cops. David did Nothing but put you into a seriously traumatic situation w zero fucks for his viewers, not even a disclaimer regarding domestic violence. What she did is NOT OKAY. I get where you are w her, and the fear of what if, if you break up. But you are excelling phenomenally on your Own. Get what you can n gtfo before you have a nervous breakdown Jason.
Vlogging is not an art unless you’re like David dobrik- Jason’s vlog are bland but they are easy money you can’t blame him- we all know Brandon is upset that Jason sold out his creativity and artistry for just vlogging and that’s what is not being blatantly said
You two mesh so well together I really loved recent short movie Jason posted, you were funny and did very well I enjoyed it, also enjoy your car talk you got going on 😊💚💚
he would if he got into a healthy relationship or stayed single and just worked on his creative stuff and his family at this point. The relationship stuff is so volatile and his job is already unpredictable
i watched fml the other day and really felt the bond between you too. you could feel the true love and happiness through that film and it truely was good.
I think Jason would be a lot happier if all his friends weren’t 20 years younger than him lol. Like how Jason said he doesn’t care about other people’s kids no one cares about his stories about his kids lmao, especially a 20 something year old.
I would love to see you have a conversation with Shane. I am so intrigued to see how you guys would interact and share your creativity. I also really want you to get the recognition and attention you deserve for your work. You’re so talented and creative.
bro probably this is the best interview you have ever made, your chemistry is so natural and warming, i think you 2 should do a project together or keep this kind of soul to soul talks going
Jason needs meditation, mindfulness and a gratitude practice! He is going to get ill being this stressed and unhappy all the time if he doesn't make some changes.
I remember you guys having some hysterical moments together like the 'Revenant'-riff or w/the sound effect machine at the old vlog house. Being a writing duo seems a no brainer??? Jason you can't vlog forever for 20 yr olds. #FML was a lot of fun! (and I paid for it). I got throwback 80's John Hughes meets Porky's-tease. Brandon you killed it- you should be proud.
