I don’t understand why people say that Gabbie is deflecting. She straight up says; “I had anger issues. If I’m always fighting with someone, it has to be me.” I see this as a very grown up conversation, neither of them is blaming the other. I think they did a great job.
@@charleytennen5135 Its definitely not. Its a reasonable assumption that she ended the conversation with it or after he said something that really hit her where it hurt. I'm sure she said it, she is too. That's not deflection. She's still owning that she said it. She's still owning that she was a very different person with many issues she hadn't faced that were ruining her relationships. It all boils down to the fact that neither of them communicated properly. If anything, he should have admitted that liking that tweet in the first place was a mistake and instead of "saving it to talk to his brother about", maybe should have gone right to her to ask about it. They both could have communicated better to have avoided it. He could've spoken directly to her about his issue and she could have approached him less aggressively. But these are could haves.

It's strange to see where this site has gone. I have been here legitimately since the beginning (2005-6ish) and I don't know if anyone could have predicted that people would make content specifically for this site as opposed to just using it as a platform to upload content
Well said, however, the notion of world peace is something that is almost impossible to have. There will always be different views, different moral and ethical standards and historical fights. I think we should focus on the peace in our own backyards first and fix our own countries before we take on something as big as the world

This is totally just my theory, but I think what happened was the Ricegum thing like other say, but also because she doesn’t want to be known for RU-vid and wants to make it big with her music. When she was in Vegas with them all, after her first song, she wouldn’t joke, she kept saying she wanted to be taken seriously, she was very “I don’t want to joke or anything in camera cuz I want to make it big,” which makes sense, but by the “jokes” (maybe) by the gang they seemed over it. I think her wanting to be this great singer and leave RU-vid, makes her kind of be rude at times.

Apparently Gabbie felt really hurt when none of the vlog squad members came to her defense over the Ricegum thing. She talked about it on Shane's podcast. I'm sure there's way more to it, but I think this is part of it.
I did notice Gabbie "liked" a tweet about the vlog squad winning a Streamy on her twitter account - which is millennial twitterspeak for "OMG U GUYS! Congrats!". Gabbie really does have the heart to love and support people. It is truly her nature.

I'm seeing so many comments shitting on Gabbie when no one is taking the time to walk in her shoes. I've been watching her for a long time now and I have mental illness as well. When something like the RiceGum situation happens to you, and none of your "friends" help back you up, you become anxious and think you can't trust anyone. I honestly do not blame her for trying to separate her work and her actual life, especially after such an incident like that one. I know she's got a lot of issues that don't excuse her from being a bad person (just like all of us) but if you could just take a moment and think of how bad that situation was and how SHE felt at the time, maybe you'd understand her a bit better.

Mackenzie Carol It was something bigger than depression, there was a lot of different controversy surrounding her and VS. I watched a video, and of course nothing is always true on internet, but it made sense. The video basically said she was leaking rumors and allegations against VS and Liza on a different twitter account that had her middle name “Hanna” and something else, that had hellllllla following. But we’ll probably never know.

It was the ricegum situation but on Shane’s podcast she said that she was doing her own thing and they were too, but their stuff was tied together with brand deals and collabs and working with/for David. She also said that she was tired of second guessing whether her relationship with them was strictly business or genuine, and she felt like she cared more about them than the other way around. And she kinda hinted at that in this video too
yash verma she started questioning who was actually her friends or who was a co-worker. So she started not being on other peoples videos so she could differentiate between the two. I don’t know if her and David still talk though because they are both so busy with their careers.

This is such a great example of good communication in friendships/relationships. Even after you argue, you try to fix your relationships trying to get to the root of the problem, not continuing to get mad at each other. I'm glad they found each other again instead of letting one disagreememt drift them apart. Thank the both of you for setting a good example for us.
I enjoy Gabbie's content but it seems like she has a lot of issues with other people. I feel like she is the kind of friend you have to tiptoe around/walk on eggshells with because she would get angry at you easily. I've had friends like that and it's so stressful. However, I could be completely wrong about this, haha. Maybe she's easy to get along with.

Thank you for uploading this. Social Media is the way most teens and young adults communicate daily. A lot of time little things (or not so little things) become heated really fast and both parties involved do not know how they got there so fast. This has provided countless people with the structure needed to see how to correct misunderstandings in person. I know that is really technical but as a teacher that is the language I know. However me as a person I want to say, Wow. Thank you for showing why it is a good thing to talk things through even after some time after a blowout with a friend.
Love how much Gabbie has grown as a person.. Financially, physically, and emotionally. Honestly I used to not really care for her much but now I like her a lot more. Also, Brandon is just the perfect guy. Kudos to both of you!

I don’t think there was actual drama. Someone said that Brandon tweeted something petty about Zane and Erin’s tweet and deleted it soon after. So in Carly and Erin’s latest video they called him and he didn’t know anything about it. I think a fan just made something up to create drama.
i normally dont comment on youtube vids but i just wanna say how much i love these conversations. they are just so raw and real unlike some other stuff on youtube these days. i just love the interactions brandon has with the people he is conversing with, the kind of conversations i would have with the close people in my life. he really delves into the deeper, more meaningful topics regarding human relationships and it is so so fascinating.
I loved this conversation between the two of you. You have people much older that can't talk about what's going on or gone on in the same way, including myself. I hope you both realise you have a genuine friendship. You don't always have to see people regularly to be friends. You just know who'll be there for you no matter what. That night you saw her unhappy, you were and always will be her friend. Brandon, keep up these videos. You are gold!
What I found out from these comments: Being open about understanding your flaws, explaining that you've realized these flaws and are now going to therapy for them, talking about yourself during an interview about yourself, and learning how to love yourself all mean you're narcissistic. Thank you for saying this! Some of these comments were being way too over critical of Gabbie. I'm not even a huge fan of her or anything but she's being very open and honest in this video. Why hate on her and say she's a narcissist? Most of those people already dislike her.
I definitely believe she came at Brandon full force in the beginning which is understandable given the situation (her friend liking a negative tweet about her) but she could’ve just let Brandon say his side without defending herself every second. I used to be a big Gabbie fan. Even through all the joke controversy, I was still a dedicated viewer. But, it was actually just a few months ago that I realized how much anger she has and how it was affecting my life just as her subscriber. I unfollowed her on all social media because the negativity and drama became too overwhelming to watch. So its honestly interesting to me how she talks like she doesnt have those issues anymore because for me, it is more apparent now than it ever has been that she is full of so much anger and resentment towards anyone who doesn't like worship her. 🤷♀️ Just my opinion!
Idk exactly what happened but they would make fun of her all the time i remember they would make Snapchats making fun of her singing and sometimes in videos they’d make fun of her. Gabbie is kind of over the top and they have a very sarcastic humor i think their personalities kinda clashed
