Man that was an amazing episode. I really love the way that Dana has handled the sensitive topic of adoption and with how people want to figure out who they are and where they come from and being confused with one’s identity, along with being curious on their family history. I can't see where King’s story arc goes from there. I hope we get to see King’s parents and maybe some other possible relatives and ancestors of King. Also lol, that scene when Hooty was getting out of the door and Luz gagging was hilarious. Like I literally thought she was gonna spew on screen and I liked how King was all like ‘Why? Just why?!’ and Lilith being all horrified. That’s gonna be one of the fandoms memes. Also I just really love the friendship and dynamic between Lilith and Hooty. I also love how the gang is being a bit more inclusive of Hooty and how Hooty isn’t so desperate for friendship with being under Lilith’s influence and how Hooty is playing a bit of a bigger role in the gang's missions. I have a theory about King, maybe his father is either the titan or the King of demons. King’s father is either dead or alive. Hmmm, maybe Belos has something to do with King. It’s possible that there are more than one titan. Maybe all the titan’s died and all the offsprings are the only existing titans left and King could be one of those titans. About Belos´s magic and its similarity to the stone guards...now that you mention it, and BTW this is a bit disturbing, the throne/chair Belos was siting when he intercepted Luz in "old souls" (minute 13:00-13:09 in your video) do looks like the mandible bones of a creature...and the fact the whole room its covered in meat -like-veins...what if Belos did fought King´s dad but he managed to kill it, then peeled out its flesh and use it to cover the insides of his castle and somehow manage to learn a way to cast "demon magic" to control it. meaning that, following your theory, at the day of unity if king do gets a "power up" similar to his father and create/control a "flesh and stone army could also mean he could "steal control" of Belos´s castle for himself (or at least fight back the control from Belos in a "fight of wills")

Wait... If one of the secret messages include "Seek the Key".. And the ruins king came from have a KEYHOLE opening... Could that mean KING is the key that will be seeked.

Little theory although it could be nothing: why does the portal door need a key and where is it conjured from? I mean Eda could just leave it around, but they always have the key, so what if the key conjures an object from this tower? Thats how Belos may have found the portal in the first place and thus knew that Eda had it. Maybe the key can teleport any object from the places in the tunnel king fell from and that could be also why the door looks like a key hole. Whatever it is, I think the portalkey itself still has more secrets and thats also why Luz still has it or something

I feel like king’s home is protected by the titan because I feel like the titan that makes up the isle is one of king’s ancestors and King is probably the last living Titian or one of the last living titans so the isle titan wanted to protect king until he awakens from his egg

In earlier episodes of season 1 . Luz says to king your such a prince but king retaliates and says it's king not prince. Which means they foreshadowed it back on session 1

i think belos was a rock guardian who rebeled against kings father both the rock guardian and belos have glowing blue eyes ,horns,and the red goupy thing that keeps the rock G together is what his magic looks like .this could be the reason why the Guardians can't leave the tower anymore ,also belos probably needs the palisman magic fluids because that is keeping him to not turn to a bunch of lifeless stones also this could be the reason why he punishes people with turning them into lifeless stones

What if Demons had the ability to animate spirits into inanimate objects? Rudimentary AI’s or something along those lines that served them. Witches on the other hand during those times were only just learning how to harness magic through glyphs. Eventually, learning they could channel that energy through a special type of wood. Seeing the Demons had so much power and perhaps fearing it. The Ancient Witches, who resembled animals of sorts, turned their newfound arts on the demon clans overwhelming them through sheer power on the Day of Unity. The time where magic is at its strongest as users link together through magic. Bat Queen’s titanic user battled King’s father or possible relative, both were wounded heavily… The demon most likely dying protecting his egg while the Witch (or Titan, a different one, possibly) crawled back to Bonesburough. Belos might be a servant of the Demon’s who learned about Witch magic and started a conflict between the two species. Or at the very least weathered the conflict enough to plan a rise to power. By harnessing his Master’s technology, he managed to find a way to use parts of the Titans to upgrade his body. Order might be a part of his programming so he sought to end the Wild Ways forcing Witches to evolve.

I also thought of the “Sun” possibility, but I really hope King is right and it is “Son”, because I think that’s sweeter.

And now it's been confirmed that the symbol on the island makes it invisible, based on how The Collector couldn't see King when he wore it.

Something I thought was *really* interesting, Jean-Luc's eyes are almost identical to Belos', just without pupils. Also, after seeing a clip that had the golden guard creating that sword, I realised the connecting tissue for Jean-Luc seems *extremely* similar to the organic material the guard used to create the sword (with a staff similar to Belos') and the tissue Belos formed into monster hands to grab Luc at the end of the last season. I can't help thinking now that Belos is actually a construct of some kind, like Jean-Luc, but where he *came* from is another matter entirely. Maybe the reason Jean-Luc was restricted to the tower is to prevent him from going rogue or something?

I think that possibly King (and by extension his dad/ancestors) are some sort of hybrid between titans and demons. I don’t think that his dad is literally the titan, since the titan is long dead and way too old for that, but if they were some sort of hybrid, it would make sense as to how they rose to power over the other demons, and also how they have whatever magic it is that lets them bring the stone guardians to life. Maybe Belos learned his magic from them before killing King’s dad (which is definitely something he’d want to do since King’s dad was probably using wild magic and was much more powerful than Belos) and then taught it to the golden guard as well? The golden guard does seem to be some sort of apprentice of Belos’s. I bet that as soon as Belos figures out who King’s dad was, he’ll want to kill him as well.

After watching Edge of The World, the one everyone thought was King’s dad in this mural may have been just another Titan Trapper wearing a Titan skull. He has human like arms and legs with no fur, and his hands are clearly human with 5 fingers. I think that, given the size of the other figure and it’s features, it was the Boiling Isles Titan while it was alive. The taller figure also looks to be holding what could possibly be a staff palisman-which could have been the same one The Bat Queen came from. We can’t see it’s head, but we can see that it has a snout protruding from its head similar to King’s. And along its body, we can see what appears to be fur. At first I thought it was breathing fire, but what if those were sound waves like King’s? The Titan trapper in question could have been a much younger, taller, and stronger Bill, who said he’d encountered a Titan that blew his eardrums with its sound waves. Being complete, The Boiling Isles Titan could have been the last Titan-save King-to die. Bill could have encountered it, fought it, lived to tell the tail, and possibly have created the celestial tower and the murals in homage to The Huntsman. Everything in this video about the celestial imagery, the eclipse behind the Titan hunter on the mural could have been a previous failed attempt to sacrifice a Titan to free the Collector. The celestial tower could even be a place of ritual, sacrificial chamber, or a magnifying glass-OMG the glass circle tablets used to contact The Collector could be used as a part of this!-, astronomically calculated placing, with the spirals, symbols, and glyphs to collect, channel, and strengthen the power of the solar eclipse onto something or someone on the pedestal in the room King’s egg was in. Maybe King was taken from The Boiling Isle Titan as an egg, with the Titan Trappers either taking him or distracting The Titan trying to kill him/her for The Huntsman while the Collector had Bill sneak off with the egg or The Collector took the egg to his tower and lured/trapped the stone flesh creatures, made by King’s parents in a similar way that King tries instinctively, within the tower to protect and nurture the egg and later King to ensure his survival until The Day of Unity, when he will be sacrificed in the very same chamber he hatched in, using his Titan blood to power the portal door as part of, or as a backup plan for, The Draining Spell. Maybe his untapped Titan powers and blood would be activated and drained for this. Maybe The Collector, having already forged a connection with this world, or King himself, will be released via possession of King in his activated and powered Titan form with The eclipse heightening The Collector’s own power/likelihood of successful release, and use King’s sound waves in a super powerful Titan form to destroy The Isles. OH, there was a crescent moon smiling tree in Belos’ mindscape resembling The Collector-what if Belos did a similar ritual as the Titan Hunters and forged a mental connection with The Collector as well! The Collector interacted with the tree and then went into the memory to interact with Belos, so what if The Collector can only temporarily enter the demon realm via a mental/spiritual/magickal connection to an inhabitant, serving as an anchor. And Belos’ eyes glow bright blue a lot when displeased or angry, a similar color theme to the blue hues of the crescent mark associated with The Huntsman painted on King’s skull, so maybe The Collector plays a part in giving Belos powers or keeping him from dying of old age, or even taught him those glyphs he carved into his arm and how to drain palisman magick! The owl beast curse could’ve been an experiment to improve and hone magick draining spell to prepare for the day of Unity, as the curse did drain Eda’s powers. When it did and when she turns, her eyes were pitch black like an eclipse, and her gold gem-sun-turns black-like eclipse-and when the curse drained/burned/corrupted magick of other things around her, it glowed white, like the moon, I guess. I think it did that because it corrupted the bard magick of the instrument and whatever is around her because there was no magick in her for it to feed upon. This draining magick and the day of Unity might be needed The Day of Unity to free The Collector from another dimension-think of the crescent glass mirrors and Through The Looking Glass and connecting to another realm, or from The Inbetween, maybe The Collector was the whispery voice we heard there, and the cubes showing anything via GLASS REFLECTIONS, the glass circles used to contact/channel/magnify The Collector and powers, and the moon symbolism is further linked to reflections, magnification and glass by the fact that the moon reflects sunlight. Maybe, given the promo imagery, maybe The Collector will possess Hunter-both have white hair and red eyes-while King is just used as the battery. For the keyhole shaped entrance, I think it means King is literally the missing key, not just the portal door key, but also King himself. The rhyme poems made by the secret messages hidden in each episode and the ones made with the first letter of each episode-The Collector loves to rhyme things-what if he made those poems-like a little 4th wall break/hint all along? They should seek out the key-not just the portal key but also King, historical info about Titans, King’s powers,-and fear the lock-what the key will be inserted into and open-the portal door yes, but also the keyhole shaped door, and more specifically the celestial tower, The Day of Unity, opening the dimension The Collector is stuck in, fear The release of The Collector. There’s so much detail in these episodes that connects to earlier episode details and I have so many ideas but I have no Idea if any of this is even plausible. If anyone actually read this whole tirade-which I applaud and thank you for-what do you think?

i have an idea, Lilith states that the room is very ancient and we can see it is made to atch an egg, everything is crumbling and after king came to life everything was in ruins. So i have a theory, King is offspring to the titan, they are an immortal (but not invulnerable) species that grows on forever, so king is so small because he is still growing, maybe the titan was so powerfull because he was undefeated and grew on for as long as it had the opportunity to, untill his own sheer hight killed him (you know, space and all). this is why the island is the only piece of rock detached from the titan, maybe the titan made every other continet sink.

For this episode I have a theorie that when belos started as the emperor he saw the king of demons as a threat (king) eda wanted to take him down for a random reason because he might’ve known the cure to her curse she destroyed the demon army and belos drained the energy of king making eda feel guilty and taking him in in s2 e3 (this episode she is talking about) the creature that attacks them kinda looks like the flesh magic belos uses in “young blood , old souls”

I am from the future. The guards in the castle were created by the "king of demons" to protect his son from belos And the person who attacked the "king of demons" is belos. Haven't seen the video yet.

What if Emperor Bellos IS one of those rock guardians with some malign sentience. His head did rotate in a similar manner when he and Luz fought in Young Blood, Old Souls. Plus, while we now know he does have hair (or so it seems, anyhow), it's entirely possible that he has altered his form over time. We also know he needs the power from palismans (concentrated titan magic?) to keep himself going, meaning maybe he's growing weaker without whatever power was granted by King's Dad. It's possible he was a minion of the Demon King who sought freedom and overthrew the old ruler in some way. For all we know, he's trying to ascend to that very position himself, but is unaware that King is connected at all (or perhaps he believes that King is too small and weak to be a real threat).

watching this after part 1 of season 2 is completed is so intresting

Just my theory, but I'm leaning towards the thought that King's father was some kind of guardian, guarding the boiling isles from threats or maybe guarding the passages between different realms - like a peace keeper/warlord of sorts. Maybe King's dad was the one to banish the Giraffes, who knows. But I'm hoping it's something like this, so Luz trying to find a way home will align with King's quest to know about himself and his family. (Also, maybe just me, but I hope the Giraffes thing comes back, because they were sent to Earth somehow...)

Hey guys, I know King was inside an egg, but I think the stories he tells are his memories of when his father talked about these things to him, you know, like a parent letting his baby listen to music still inside the mother's belly. And if so, that means his father was a very vicious ruler. And if so, then one has to wonder if Belos didn't have his reasons to betray his master. I mean, he may be a dictador, but he stands up for order and peace.

Even though this is the first time we see luz make glyph combos, we did see in once apon a swap that luz made a different version of the light glyph to make reflection so that might be brought up again for an illusion glyph! I used this to make my own illusion glyph using the ice sculpture glyph Lilith made surrounded by the reflection glyph, gold star for me! Also, the symbol in kings tower is probably referencing a nazar because in kings tide it’s what makes the collector not see him

I think its safe to say that the Titan that makes up the boiling isles isnt Kings father: 1. Too large compared to the structure 2. The skull lacks the snout that kings skull has. So its more likely the case that whatever Kings Father was fighting is the origin of the remains that make up the boiling isles. Also i want to point out that the fighting versions of Kings father looks a bit younger due its lack of a beard. Or maybe it isnt even Kings father but King himself and the mural depicts future events. My theory is that Kings father killed the Titan that makes up the boiling isles through the use of some glyph magic based spell. Aeons later a Human somehow founds it way to the boiling isles and made contact with the dormant spirit of the Titan which taught him its secrets in exchange for his loyalty. Belos went on and founded the Covens as a way to root out the use of glyph magic. Also this allowed him to limit every witch to a certain type of magic making the people easy to control. His end goal is the day of unity a ritual that most likely requires a certain ingridient that can only be found on earth or some other dimension and will probably absorb all magic stored in the magic bile sacks(or in a more gruesome turn of events their flesh) nack into the titan who then will be whole again. Demon Alliance Theory: If Kings Father united the Demons against some sort of danger he surely would need some sort of inner circle. Maybe thats why Belos wanted to kill Selkidomus because its ancestors were involved in the defeat of the titan.

I think the eclipse is a reference to the day of unity and in the big demon is the collector when it wasn't trapped.

The guardian is one badass creature. Indestructible. Soft(when it made flesh hands to hold newborn King). Nanny. Angry guard. Sounds like the Quiet Place monsters. Also even though they look more like flesh and bones than rock, King is making similar structures using rocks by instinct. Mayb once a full fledged demon, adult King can make the flesh guardians of his own.

Based on what we saw in the trailer for this season... Belos is actually very similar to the rock guardians you mentioned, same gore like shapeshifting abilities too. Remember his EYES they even have the same blue glow. Wonder if we are going to find out that Belos was an underling of KIng's father, who was actually not the titan but the titan's descendant. Like one day belos was all, "I hate taking orders from this larger demon... Welp time to overthrow him and take over the boiling isles too."

I think it's pretty straightforward King is the prince of demons and his father very much like globgor from star versus the forces of evil went out and tried to protect his kingdom and family and is either dead or is most likely captured by the emperor I'm seeing more and more similarities between this show and star versus the forces of evil there's just not a lot of racism but there's definitely classism and most of the witches and warlocks seem to be on the hierarchy of things yet again it doesn't seem to be about race more towards classism and political structure don't get me wrong racism is deeply ingrained in all of that but again you don't see people really going out of their way to exclude other mythical creatures I'm kind of reminded of the playground scene where kids of all shape size and race are playing and there's not anyone telling them to play with each other because of their race if that makes sense

Fear the king could be talking about King's dad being the true king of the boiling isles. Belos probably fought King's dad and had a somewhat of a draw meaning King's dad could still be alive and that's the one thing Belos has to fear. Also, seek the key fear the king = keyhole door leading towards... The king. Or whatever is left of the king and his possible son.
