as a German, it's really weird for me to see that Bakery is a university major in the UK. Here in Germany, it's an apprenticeship. Nice to see how things are different aroudn the world!
Grace, I’m a Grandmother from America with grandchildren your age. If you ever need another Grandmother I’m your girl. I just think that you are a lovely, down-to-earth young person who has her head on her shoulders and a wonderful sense of humor. Keep up the good work and have fun.😊
@@fkatwigsisthequeenofenglan4748 it's called bake off the professionals I don't know if they do it since the programme moved to channel 4. It was teams of bakers too so she would have to find a team!
youtube H in the u.s., we don't bring snacks of any sort to school and most people eat school lunch instead of packing a lunch. but even of those who do bring their lunch, i've NEVER seen anyone bring toast. i have seen a band member bring avocado toast to a football game, but that's it. :)
@youtube H Here in the states, i think we toast it to make it more crispy but ALSO to be warm. It's kinda like pizza- its good when it's cooled off but it's super good when it's warm. and we don't bring bread to school haha it's usually pre packaged stuff like chips or bars.
@Olivia where I'm from we have both. You can study cooking even in public universities (which are the better ones here) but you can also pay for courses in culinary schools.
You have just made my day - thank you once again for 15 mins of quality content! Back I go to writing a mock blog piece on suicide in the Victorian era... we love uni students!xx
Loved this vid!! Please do vlogmas, love how regularly you upload anyway! I work at hotel chocolat alongside my degree so I’ll have to give Kennards a try and see how it compares !! Xx
Having a bad day and was thinking PURLEEEEASE let grace have uploaded I need that positivity overload! U are the hyped version of myself and I’m now obsessed w ur vids. Thank u for the entertainment 💅🏻💁🏼♀️🤘🏻🐿
Wondered why you kept popping up on my tl but then you were in the library and then I say that lanyard! Glad you’re getting some sort of success on RU-vid! Go you!
my dream is to go to the institute of culinary education in New York and this was so nice to watch just seeing someone else’s experience learning baking in uni. Thank you for this video!
Nice video! Those baked goods look amazing! What exactly is the name of your degree? I find it really interesting that you go to uni AND actually bake :)
Well that’s fun to see learning to bake at Uni 😂 in Germany we have „duales Ausbildungsprinzip“ you have one half apprenticeship in a bakery where yo work and learn and the other half at an college (Berufsfachschule). That’s where you learn all the technology and science.... Interesting how different it is, isn’t it 🤗
I used to be a pretty good baker (especially French bread), but then I discovered I was gluten intolerant and it’s hard to find home recipes that work with gluten-free flour. Shortcrust pastry and cookies are about it!
YES! This is SO good to see being a fellow bakery student at NBS. How did you just randomly film this or did you get permission to film it? Home student, we love that! My sister doesn't like dark chocolate either- what a koinky dink
omg you live the absolute dream i did food tech and gcse but i’m not carrying on anything like that at a level and i kinda regret it bc this looks so good
Love the video as usual however would LOVE to see the food before eating e.g close up shot of the chocolate idk but it was stressing me. Thanks not that I’m weird 😂❤️
