A video in the daytime in Patong, Thailand. I began the day with breakfast on the balcony, went for a foot massage, checked out a hotel with a nice view, had some noodles for a late lunch, took a mototaxi through town to Bangla Road, before heading to the beach for the sunset...

Great camera work ,i loved Patong(Travelled there 3 years running ),but sadly out of my price range going by the massage prices .The old tiger disco was great ,Soi Eric was the place to drink ,sadly those days have gone .I'll be honest and say i had more of a holiday feel going there because of the beach ,careful with the rip tides when swimming seriously .I nearly got caught out one year 😱

For those luggage rooms, I recommend one of those PacSafe RetractaSafe cable locks. They're about the size of a deck of cards and you can lash your bag to a fixed object.

These walkabouts are a really interesting slice in time. Looking at the beginnings of large construction there, in 10 or 20 years the place will be completely unrecognizable. None of the small buildings will be there, and half the streets won't even be in the same places.

My ligaments can no longer handle the traditional Thai massage. The oil massage is my go-to now. I was enlightened to that option by a masseuse at a place next to the Holiday Inn Express on Hatpatong Road.

So, legit question. What happened to the big, open area with all the bars? The bar girls played games like connect four and the nail-in-a-tree-stump game with those little hammers. Granted, been a while since I visited. Stopped for my first time in 1999, then stopped twice in 2001. Then spent 2 weeks in 2004. That's the last time I was in Phuket (Patong). And I had a great time on the Phuket side of the island. Cheaper hotels and less tourists.

On the baansaan soi, walk on the mountain way turn on left and try the Tiger Hotel very good room for good price. I ask for more cheap for 2 weeks and i paid 480/ day 👍chok dee from Switzerland

Just watching this and realised this is fairly old as in a recycled vlog so the publish date is somewhat incorrect. Soi Sansabai has a new road laid down where in this vlog it shows as having the same beat up road. Also, driving down Banlga Rd on the taxi, tiger complex on the right shows PINK bar where now as at January 18 it has changed management and different name. Still a great vlog though!!

Not a single street dog? That's incredible. Pink dude needs to keep hand off throttle when stationary. Be careful what you eat at market stalls, I caught a bug, in bed for 2 days. The oil from the restaurants leak into the sea, unswimmable some days JUNGCEYLON has a good sushi place on the left of the entrance Toilet alleyway is to be avoided, there are plenty of clean hotel toilets to use. You could have covered the local astro turf football pitch and joined in for a game. There's also a place that does amazing coconut ice cream. Get off the bike. Walk and find it. Some of those bars will con you, as well as the thai boxing arena The place looks dead compared to other times of the year. You can pick up some great oil paintings there. There are approximately 7 places that sell them. Maybe cover the weed bars there next time. There is only one book store in the whole area, it's in the mall. The sunsets ive seen are worth visiting for, and the neighbouring karaan beech. Great music 16:57 , what is it if I may ask? You can get a late checkout if you ask very very nicely. It also helps if you've fucked the hotel receptionist. She'll also look after you in bed when you've caught a bug Thanks for a super video x

I liked the driving section. You get a good sense of the city in just a short time. And as for those 2 fat expats at 25:14, it's a wonder anyone would pay a barfine in this town, knowing one of those 2 guys may have also barfined the same worker... Yuck!

Phuket has new motorcycle laws. Get caught without a international license and you'll have to pay a 5000 BAHT fine and they'll confiscate the bike and take it down to the pound. Who ever rents you the bike will have to goto the pound to collect the bike and pay a 2000 BAHT fine. So beware my fellow travelers!

Just once please rent a scooter and go up into those damn beautiful hills we see in the background of all you daytime videos. Please take us there..... My feet were aching b4 your foot massage, now they REALLY ache. I wish I could get my wife to rub my feet like that 😍ahhh..... That was a lot of fans. How hot is it there in September? It's October now in Texas and the temp yesterday was 92 degrees Fahrenheit with about 70% humidity and this damn sure ain't the tropics. I'd much rather be where you are by the beach than here in Texas so I could make use of the heat.....
