A Day in the High Sierra! Hiking to the shore of Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe  

I hike down to the shore of Lake Tahoe at Emerald Bay.
Camping in the Sierra mountains near Lake Tahoe and a beaver pond. I decide to hike down to the lake shore at Emerald Bay. It's a short hike but so glad to get out in such a beautiful place. Then I make a huge dinner of pasta with red sauce and Italian sausage and a dessert of Japanese rice cakes.
