Turkey Day Extravaganza! - Skylight Arch 

I spend Turkey Day alone!! I really don't mind, though. No, really.
I wanted to have a memorable Thanksgiving since this will the first in a very long time I don't go home to visit family. First, I drive up to a beautiful bluff to take a hike to the Skylight Arch. The views from the top are amazing. This hike is on the very edge of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument.
After my hike, I head back to camp for an incredible Turkey Day feast. I picked up a roasted turkey thigh from the grocery deli counter and some pre-made mashed potatoes. I made some Stove Top stuffing and and sit down for a really delicious meal. It was a classic Turkey Day plate with cranberry sauce and lots of gravy over everything. It really was fantastic. I also had a slice of pumpkin pie.
At the end of the evening, I sit by the fire and watch the sunset over Lake Powell on Lone Beach in Utah.
