This is honestly the best day in life of surgeon i saw where there clips of actual hospital setup not just them talking talking and talking and telling their day ij life while sitting at home
Honestly hats off to you for being a 3rd year surgical resident and while simultaneously being a mom of a 3 year old....One day your daughter will be so proud of u and going through the hell of surgical residency will be worth it..Bless U🙏
@@smellypatel5272 Well if you are a woman then it is hundred times more difficult to have a kid just when you are about to start a surgical residency as compared to a man. My fiancee is a neuropathology fellow and before we met when she was just starting her anatomic pathology residency she got pregnant and decided to abort the child...But her decision to abort the child also ended her then relationship.
I want to encourage all live savers out there since I, as a surgical nurse, have been loving my profession in nursing. In addition to having a happy profession, my strategic investing plans have allowed me to purchase my third home, supporting my retirement plans
Wow, interesting indeed! Currently I'm in need of investment ideas or tips. Earlier this year I hesitated and failed to take any action until now. However, I'm determined to try some new as I am very open to various investment ideas . I want to be retired in my forties or fifties. I really wish I can achieve what you have achieved and I believe it will happen
It's essential to comprehend the complexities of investing. Having a trustworthy support system, such as a financial adviser, who can advise you is crucial, especially when choosing assets.
Thank you for your advice, it's challenging to find a reliable investment advisor here. Seeing the success you have achieved through investing I would love to have access to your investment advisor.
I operate with (ALEX MARTIN TARLOR) an investment specialist who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, his experience has been the best for my finance
I googled his name and found his website where I saw his qualifications and testimonials that looked impressive with many positive reviews , I have already reached out to him to discuss my financial goals , thanks you for pointing me to the right direction
This glimpse into the day of a general surgery resident is eye-opening! It's incredible to see the dedication and hard work that goes into this profession. Major respect to all residents for their commitment to saving lives and improving patient care.
it's amazing to see many doctors here in youtube, start their day early in the morning.. i mean.. some of you wake up at 4 am, 5 am and start the day in hospital at 6am.. wow.. i just woke up that time..
HI Doctor I just joined the General surgery department and I do love your video one day I just want to be like you showing the day in life as a general surgeon ❤
I would like to express my gratitude to all the medical staff who always have to practice medicine that is not allowed to fail under such pressure and how important the responsibility and mission of a doctor's job are. Among them, I would like to express my sincere respect to the surgeons.
Daisy! You are so inspiring! I have recently graduated, and I am planning on applying to medical school. I am not sure wether I will be looking into surgery, but I would love to see a RU-vid video in where you go over your journey. I am so glad that there are women like you out there who embrace their femininity regardless of how hard this can be in the professional world. Thank you!
Definitely, I've been meaning to make a video breaking down my journey! I've been a little busy with residency and life but I'm hoping to get one up in the next few months! Best of luck to you in applying to medical school!
That’s why there are so many specialties out there :) I love the intricacies of surgery and just working with my hands but I need sleep, caffeine gives me anxiety and the lifestyle in general isn’t for me. This woman is amazing! 🙌🏻❤️
I wonder how she lives. How did she manage pregnancy and birth while doing residency? Does she have a relationship with her partner and child? Does she have any free time at all?
You literally make my day. My goal in life was supposed to be a surgical tech and/or scrub nurse. But unfortunate medical circumstances prevented that. I literally admire you and all you do. My heart will always be in the medical field and your tiktoks/youtubes always give me light.
Thanks for this video, becoming a general surgeon has been my dream, and am 16 now and am gonna work harder towards my aim. This video have really inspired me and I know I can achieve my aim by the grace of the almighty Allah🤲
I always wanted to be a surgeon, the kind that makes any patient smile and can heal almost anything Your video was a big motivator😢 I'll do my best from now on to be that doctor To be a superhero Thank you ❤❤❤
I wanted to enter medical school so that I could become a surgeon in the specialty that I loved, but my average and income in my country only allow me to enter dentistry and surgery. 💔
She is hot and knows it....reminds me of my pain doc .....im 65.....she was 46 and looked 25 and more like a model than one of the highest paid doctors in the hospital....not everybody can be a doc ....i could not....i dont work well with people.....i was a programmer and then server sales for IBM.....beside your life is 25 percent or more over before you start....I went to ASU with a math degree and minor in computer science in 79.....then i got a MBA from U of T in S.A. in 87.....good luck to all you future docs!....you earned it
Good to see your facility too ...but my question Is this Ur duty day or the routine activity ? ...like u were in to hospital @ 5 am and then getting out at 9:30 pm ...isn't that too long for daily working activity ?
Honest question, I am a 4th year med student in Germany. The attendings would go rlly mad and deny you to assist in the surgeryif somebody came in with nails not cut short. Is that different in the States, cause I saw your nails aren’t that’s short and kinda edgy. Best regards - great video
You're amazing Dr.Sanchez, its women like you I look up to! I'm in my first year of Biomedicine and hoping to get into medicine in a few years and one day become a surgeon like you. Thank you for saving so many lives everyday, may God bless you and all other Doctors.
also they can penetrate gloves in OR, she also wears rings and other bacteria liking items :D I can not help myself, but I think she mainly just wanted to show off how very succesful and important person she is in surgery ward, but I think she just really really overrates herself for viewers.
Hi there! been thinking about becoming a surgeon. currently a phlebotomist. would you say all the schooling is worth it? im currently 20 and ready to go back to school
Will surgery be dependant on robots in the future? In that case how will the rule of the surgeon change? I'm an RT and want to continue my career into surgery and wondering how will it be in the upcomming future
Franco-American Son is first year(7th year medicine,) intern in urology here in France. He works 60-70 hour weeks plus at least one 24 guard in emergency. He's aging fast...I'd like him to visit an American Hospital to experience surgical life back home one day...rr Normandy, France
hey not sure if ill get a response but what age would I be when I become a first year surgical resident because I'm thinking about pursing surgery and I am not sure how old ill exactly be because I feel kinda scared if I end up wasting a good portion of my 20's to pursue this.
Surgeons bring the most money to the hospital that’s why. Also I just realized, caffeine gives me anxiety and makes me very jittery so I basically don’t drink it, so there goes my dream of being a surgeon 💀
How is it that you are allowed to wear nail polish at the hospital, especially in surgery? I'm based in Germany and that would never ever be tolerated here 😲
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a surgeon with long nails before possibly fake. They are a nidus for infection and hard to perform a proper physical with them. What’s up with that
As someone going into the surgical technologist role I have so many sterile questions. I thought we cant have long nails past fingertips in OR? Or makeup etc.? Also, how do you film when being scrubbed in?
CST here. I would have been kicked out the OR if I had lash extensions. I guess she can do what she wants but I personally wouldn't compromise patient safety over my own vanity.
@@roxannamendoza4586how does having lash extensions make a person vain? And how is that compromising patient safety? This comment is ridiculous. There are people with naturally long eye lashes.
I am obviously not talking about those people who have natural eyelashes. And to comment that is crazy because hers are definitely extensions. Eyelashes harbor bacteria and can fall into an open wound. Fake or not. But the whole point of not wearing nails and lashes into the OR is to minimize the risk of surgical site infection.@@SamanthaD89
@@Phoebabyyy If you’re a Doctor (Doesn’t matter what specialty), is it possible for someone whom dropped out of school to gain the qualifications to get into medical school and become a doctor? I’m 24 years old btw?
