A Day in the Life Training in Karate | VLOG at the Machida Karate Dojo in LA 

The last of my karate videos for a while. Thanks for taking the time to look at something different that I do. FYI, I am not in LA anymore as of now. This karate footage filmed in May 2018 that I never got around to editing (imagine that!!!). Oh, also, like this video if you do martial arts!

I always wanted to do karate when I was a kid but my parents never let me haha. I feel like this would give you confidence and make you feel like a stronger person.

Wow.. I used to do karate as a kid, as my mum would sign me and my 2 siblings up for weekly training at a local school (I am half Japanese), lived in NZ/Australia. I used to not like going, due to the seemingly pointless drills (as I thought before) ^^. Now hearing your reasoning behind it all about bettering yourself, makes me want to start going again!! Respect for being a black belt :) (bows).

You need to do some HIIT training buddy to build up resilience for your training . You can do some drills to do that are karate based . I’m off to America when Covid is done and I’ll definitely come with my letter of introduction to the machida dojo . Are they open to anyone coming to train with them ??

Just joined your group. 1st video. Very nice. I grew up with karate also (Shotokan/Isshinryu) in Hawaii. After that, tried as many as I could causeI loved learning the arts. Jiujitsu, wing chun, escrima, Lua (hawaiian martial arts), along with several others to where I ended up focusing on Muay Thai. Trained in Thailand and Laos. Several times in the ring (amateur) and now I teach. Too old now. Lol. But you are right. Great for protection, discipline, and ments well being. I'm not a Master or even great but loved learning about them. Ja, mata ne! Ganbatte kudasai, ne! BTW, Love and miss Japan. Anime rules. Lol.

Great video. I train in Karate (nidan) up by San Francisco and would love to train in LA with Machida. Big fan. I also train in BJJ
