My favorite prayer for when I’m at a place of unrest or an unsettled filing of despair is Hebrews 4:16 16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” BTW, I love your channel. There are many great benefits to fasting, and one is exposure. When we fast God exposes what’s on the inside of us (the things or spirits lying dormant) and the idols of our hearts. Fasting is dying to yourself and putting God back in His rightful place where idols have been.
Hey Ri, your face feels like it’s burning because you just introduced a new ingredient (salicylic acid) to your skin which exfoliates. The glycolic acid also exfoliates. So that’s two active exfoliating ingredients. While the two can work together, you should start slow. ❤
Ri, have you considered therapy? Seeing a Black Christian therapist has absolutely changed my life. Therapy is not an alternative for prayer. For me, therapy shows me what to pray about. I think it would be cool for you to have someone to talk to about how you feel.
She seems to understand her problems though. I think it’s more of a waiting game. From what I ascertain, she waiting for God to do specific things in her life. （like marriage) Therapy will just tell her what she already knows. IMO
True, but just because you understand your problems doesn’t mean you shouldn’t talk to someone about them. Therapists even have therapists and if anyone understands their problems, it’s a therapist; yet that doesn’t stop them from seeking therapy. She said in this video she doesn’t feel like she has anyone to talk to, she’s questioning her career, and she’s waiting on something big that hasn’t happened. All three of those things can be very overwhelming and lead to bigger emotions. Just venting to someone who gets paid to listen can help us so much.

i definitely understand what it like to not feel motivated to go to your 9-5. I talk on the phone all day at work. Very mentally draining. Since i started working out in the morning before work. That has brought me a long way

Hello Ms. Ri, I just wanna say that you have been growing in the word since I have been watching your videos. But I want to ask you please ask God for discernment when listening to certain preachers. I know that is something we all have to ask God for. But I wanted to say when we are following Jesus, the Father is an example for us to follow; an outline. So whatever we see that He did , we should follow along. Ther are some things that we will not be able to get through but only by prayer and fasting. I noticed that you attend church, I would just get more understanding from your pastor. Just want to say, keep pressing in the Lord. You are helping many of us.😊

I love that you took the time to share your journey and hopefully this message will also encourage those who are watching. While you’re intentions are great, I would like to encourage anyone watching who maybe new to fasting or unsure of it, fasting is MOST DEFINITELY a REQUIREMENT! I say that with love but all seriousness. It is my prayer that no one is unintentionally misled. If this message stays up I would like to encourage everyone who needs clarification to read and study Matthew 6:16. Jesus stated “when” you fast. The operative word is “when” which indicates that it is expected and required. Jesus lived a model lifestyle. How He lived wasn’t for kicks and giggles, however it was to show how to live and what pleases God and how to please God. He showed us how to get victory in this life here on earth. Fasting was a part of that. Whatever Jesus did in the bible indicates what we are expected to do it as well. And lastly, a true fast is abstaining from all food for a period of time. Giving up certain guilty pleasures like social media, junk food, shopping etc are just ways to consecrate yourself. It is not fasting, it is consecration. We as disciples and believers are called to live a consecrated life which includes prayer, fasting and reading/studying the word of God. Also, read and study Matthew 17:21 and Mark 9. There are some things we can only get delivered from and maintain that deliverance which is through prayer AND fasting! Be blessed y’all. Okay and this is truly is the last thing, but you’re not supposed to share you’re fasting even during a corporate fast UNLESS you are inviting someone to join you to fast. Fasting should be done in private. If you publicly declare it but you’re not inviting others to join the attention you get from people is your reward. (This isn’t targeting anyone. I’m stating for clarification). It is our responsibility to believe what we read (the bible) not read what we believe (what makes us comfortable). As always don’t just take my word for it but check with God because His word is final.

Hey Ri! I love a good sudsy, foamy cleanser too! I love using the Youth to the People Superfoods Cleanser. It suds up really well when you add water to it in your hands and rub together before applying to your face, and a little goes a long way! I can make a bottle stretch four months easy when using only at night. Using both morning and night I can get a good three months. It gets your skin really clean and smooth without stripping it fully of natural oils. Hope you try it and love it!

If you want a really good sudsy lather, use the Nutragena deep clean (im pretty sure I spelled that wrong) its inexpensive (less than $10) and it lathers like dish soap I swear I love it… it gives squeaky clean!! The key is to rub it in your hands first and then rub it on your face… im the same way with body washes too I need it to sudz
Fasting strictly deals with the intake of substance (food or drink) into your mouth, whereas you can deny yourself pleasures of the flesh: social media, tv, music, etc….God is faithful and his timing is impeccable, trust me….before you know it, all (more than enough) of your prayers will be answered and it’ll seem like it was yesterday you prayed, but in actuality it will be things you’ve been praying for for years 🥰🙏🏾👏🏾

I use the SA cleanser due to my grown ppl acne 🥴🙌🏾l😂 just fyi it's drying, though it gives the foam you want, so I only use it on a MWF routine and no actives during that wash along with SPF since it can be rough. I completely feel and can relate to how you were feeling. I deleted my instagram and Facebook a few days ago because I was just so overwhelmed. And to focus and press into my relationship with God. The enemy wants us distracted and feeling defeated. Give your grace and keep pressing. This too shall pass!! 🤍
The cleanser has Salicylic acid (hence the “SA”), which is a BHA and helps break down oil/sebum. It can have a stinging effect and cause irritation when combing it with the glycolic acid. Try separating the two to see if you still have the stinging sensation! Enjoyed the video per usual💕
I came to the comments to say just this! Yes, be careful and try not to use them in the same wash session. Don’t the to cause any major issues or irritation. Maybe use the regular foaming wash and glycolic acid in the morning and the SA cleanser and maybe a niacinamide toner in the evening. The SA cleanser can also make your skin a little more sensitive to the sun, so make sure you use sunscreen or use it at night.

I'm sorry Riii, but fasting is a requirement. This is the reason why some ppl become spiritually drained and dead. It's required with praying. When you FAST, it is going without Food & Drink that's it. It's a MUST for a Christian to turn his or her plate down. You will not find in the Bible that JESUS fasted from anything else but food & water. IJS! Yes, I do agree of the Daniel’s Fast, but all other fasts that is in the Bible is without food and water. Sure, you can give up other things that may be a distraction to you, but fasting and give up something are two different things sorry girl, but I just had to share. When we are speaking about JESUS we must be correct. Love you Ri Ri and please do not get offended by what I said and if you find in the word of God any different, please share and I will stand corrected.
I think Rianna was trying to say that fasting is not a requirement to be saved - which is true. If you disagree with this, can you please provide scripture supporting that?

If you are a Christian, it is required for a Saint of God to Fast, Pray and read the Word of God to kept the Holy Ghost alive inside of them. If you disagree, I understand. No arguments here. Seek God in Jesus’s name for your answer.

I think that it is very brave of you to put the most venerable information about your walk with Christ on the internet while knowing the potential backlash you may receive. I am a college student, and I am in my last year of studying architecture. It has been very hard to see the promise that God has made for me come into fruition because part of me feels like I may have heard wrong, or maybe I didn't hear Him at all. It's been hard to see you down about unanswered prayers and your journey in education, but I want you to stay encouraged. Romans 8:28 reads, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" (NIV). I truly believe that if you just hold on a little longer, God will reveal Himself amidst your storm. He is with you, and you are so close to a breakthrough. I am sending you lots of love and know that you are in my prayers. :)
