seeing Michael Russel with the full face sun protection, I really want to know how the pros take care of their skin? Theyre in the blistering heat for many hours per day and they must have some sort of incredible sunscreen that we dont know of. Someone please inform me how they do it :)

I've been liking what I've been seeing of these American youngsters. Obviously Isner has been the American top dog for quite a while and he's still very solid. But Fritz and Tiafoe and Opelka were exceptional last year and really made big strides. And this new crop of Americans have been making moves too like Nakashima and Brooksby and McDonald (and I'm sure I'm missing several more). I've felt like for too long the American players have been too one-dimensional, too much like the stereotypical American big bashers (big serve, big forehand, kinda mediocre everywhere else). These last couple generations are much more mobile and can play better defense. Plus this new guy Cressy with the all-out serve and volley attack is refreshing to see.

Not sure why the US media don't talk more about the unfair wildcard system that provides their players with valuable points. The US and few other countries have the big tournments so wildcards (often to their own citizens) get valuable points. Sure it's not fair - what is in life? But let's call it out as what it is - discrimination based on citizenship. That's why I laugh when Americans celebrate their own players - it's like a company that celebrates the promotion of someone inot a VP position but who is the child of the father who owns the company LOL Sure, it's not an automatic that they will win or go deep into the tournament, but they are given a better chance plus get access to quality players and those points. They are given that extra lift/support. So I say CALM DOWN. Let's celebrate those who are from countries that do not have many chances at wild cards. They work hard, take the long road, and sacrifice a lot more.
