I'm really struggling right now because when I earned my degree I was living in a large city. Now I'm in a VERY rural community in a different state and I have no idea what to do with my degree. Some good advice in this video.

The school should be better at helping with career path. My son is at University at Buffalo. He’s in his third year and there has been no talk of possible career paths or how to tailor his education. I get the sense that he’s just a number. I sent him your videos which will hopefully help equip him with possibilities. For most degrees, the college helps in this respect. For example, Nursing is a vast field, but most programs will guide students and offer internships etc. Poli Sci degrees (at his school) do not seem to be designed to foster a real future and leave students feeling like they do not know where to start after school. BTW, he has not had to deliver any presentations or do any public speaking (debate????). Is that normal?
