WoO could have done this years ago, glad to see there is finally an organization in flo that is pushing the sport forward. AUS vs USA will be must watch tv
Floracing is the best thing that ever happened to this sport. Love being able to watch so much racing at a reasonable price. Waking up to a race down under on the weekend will be fun for sure
High Limit running in Australia/ New Zealand with FLO Racing bringing the show back to us in the winter could be HUGE . I know I would subscribe to that. It could further connect the two continents and provide further opportunities for racers in both places. High Limit would then be even more appealing to Racers that want their Freedom and more racing..
Wham bam thank you ma'am I mean Sir. These daily updates always touch on the things I care about and are brief and tidy and to the point. Good job as always. And thank you!
Thanks again for always putting on a great Daily broadcast. I recently saw your interview with Jeremy Elliott on "Deep Dive." It was entertaining and informative. I enjoyed listening to your stories regarding your tenure as an over-the-wall guy in NASCAR. Now I understand how you can handle the trolls in your comments section.
Awesome show as always. Short and to the point. I want to repeat what Jason said. If you aren't subscribed, you should be. C'mon everyone, help the guy out.
You missed Stewart Fresen double win last night Won in a Sprint car then in him BBMOD. I believe hight limit will make it work down under and there will be great fields of cars show up. People will come race because of the money $12,000 USD is around $17,000 OR A little more. AUSTRALIA
Outlaws could easily repsond to this by doing it themselves, instead they will probably just play games at stop Gravel, Haud Macedo ect from running down there.
High Limit is still in the honeymoon phase, they will eventually be just as bad as WRG just in different areas. This happens all the time with "disruptive" startups. At first it works so well you wonder what the established company was thinking, over time though the startup just becomes more and more like what they were supposed to be different from.
Times have changed from 2006 when the Outlaws visited Australia and New Zealand as an official traveling circuit. I can remember watching the Outlaws at Baypark Speedway in New Zealand thinking this is pretty cool and different as we had American midget and sprintcar drivers visit and race in New Zealand regularly more so at Aucklands Western Springs, but not the famous World of Outlaws. I know after the Outlaws visited New Zealand, a number of chassis were sold to locals, with the outlaw teams leaving equipment in New Zealand. When i say times have changed. It's very expensive to ship any vechile to Australia and New Zealand post COVID and you have to allow for shipping delays.. The other change is, both New Zealand and Australia teams have greater access to top equipment via local importers as Maxim, J & J Chassis, Triple X etc. The path over the years in both Australia and New Zealand is for US drivers to race for local car owners in top equipment that is equal to what they race in the US. New Zealander Mark Cooper who owns Spike Chassis, use to bring Donny Schatz to Australia each year and Mark would import the same TSR J & J Chassis Donny had raced in the US and at the end of the Australian season, sell the chassis to a local driver or team as a roller. In New Zealand, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Buddy Kofoid and Spencer Bayston have all driven for local car owners in top line equipment including locally built chassis as King Chassis etc. I think what will happen is High Limit won't ship any US based cars to Australia, but will reach out to local car owners to see it they can provide a ride.. It will be interesting to see if it all comes together....
Yeah they will. Larson has already mentioned that they'll most likely ship the Paul Silva 57 to Perth and Rico shipped his own gear there this past summer.
I can see High Limits Down Under series becoming the new World Series Sprintcars national touring series in a year or two. Toby Bell-Bowen (Sprintcar Hub) is very much for a national series, and has existing ties to Rico from working with him last Aus summer. So with his industry ties and promotion I can see him involved for sure. Add in Rico’s connections to Luch Monte who as a team owner was a long time supporter of WSS and you would assume be interested in whatever new national series comes up. Doesn’t take much to connect the dots to see where it could be headed. Streaming rights could be interesting with the Perth Motorplex and the coverage they get on free to air tv with 7+, but I am sure it can be sorted.
well you can definately say brad and kyle are definately going big, hope they dont overdo it too quick, but they have done good soo far, would be neat if they had a race at oshweeken in canada again, many people would love that, looks like schuhart has finnaly come alive this season.
@@mikepalmer7368, How is Logan racing and ultimately winning this week doing anything negative for the brand? He's keeping the brand relevant in an office week. That exclusive mentality could very well be why Late Models are more popular.
Didn’t get a chance to tune into the summer nationals race at riverside. Were there any noticeable safety improvements to the facility in preparation for the outlaw show in October?
I wonder if the scca and clay-per-view will welcome high limit with open arms, or might they worry that high limit and flo have bigger plans for australia than promoting just a few races?
I feel high limit could use some trips to the northern states / Midwest if they wanna really grow id love to be interested it's just id have to drive so far to see them.
WoO is preventing tracks with a scheduled WoO date from hosting high limit, most major sprint car tracks would want to host HL if it wasn't for WoO's interference
@j81brown nascar has lots of problems, neutered cars with no horsepower because of catering to manufacturers, exploding costs leading to pay drivers and nepotism, over aggressive driving especially in the lower series, a lack of short tracks and a horrible short track package, too much areo dependency.
The outlaws restrict tracks from having high limit shows, idk what up north means but if you are talking about North/South Dakota then most of the major tracks their can't host HL due to WoO saying they will pull their date
