Levis has elite arm talent... We improved the o line, we improved the pass catchers, (IMO) ... We improved coaching/play calling... The same ppl hating on Levis.... Love A. Richardson.... Who showed nothing but the ability to get hurt? Make it make sense!
@@Big.steppa.reese0 The thing is outside of Sneed the rest of the moves feel very risky and the existing pieces on the roster are also question marks. If everything clicks they could be a darkhorse playoff team but I also think they very easily could also bottom out and being picking near the top next draft.
25:00 - I've heard you mention this related to "accuracy" several times. As a helpful note, technical industries will distinguish between "accuracy" and "precision" - you can be accurate hitting the target once every x times but you're precise if you consistently hit the target and have minimal spread. Might help you make this point a little more clear in future videos... keep up the great work!
@@Breasee Nah bro Jacoby is damned good, Will Levis definitely had a great to watch season but who knows how that will translate into this next season.
@ChewsCarefully It’s the end of May and Levis has one season of shaky film. No takeaways from a whole season of film, and no coverage during the off-season is preferable for you?
@@socks7773 I don't even know wtf you're asking. How are those two sentences the Only Two Possible options? If you can't pin what's *right* with someone down to a Precise Number due to lack of input then you also can't assume what's wrong with them. It's an Unknown. You give them a range & acknowledge it's The Past then either adjust to the new reality like the change(s) in coaching &/or receiver corps or leave it as an unknown. Are people taking bets on where Marcus is rating teams before the season starts?
I never thought Brady would play for anybody other than the Patriots either. Got to remind myself the NFL stands for “Not for Long” and any player is disposable given the right price/timing.
As a Titans fan since 97 I agree it's going to be different but I've been through Eddie George and Chris Johnson and etc but we are shifting to a high power offense and smash mouth never won us a Superbowl
wow. WAY too low in my opinion. i guess levis and callahan being unproven weighs the ranking down, but based on the flashes we saw from levis last year and ran carthon's great offseason moves, i'm confident that the titans will way outperform their ranking like the texans did last year
I'm surprised. My guess is the loss of vrabel and amount pf uncertainty because of new players and levis is why. Still I don't think levis played worse than tannehill last year. They also upgraded most units on their team.
Yo Marcus, I was rewatching your 2022 draft grades review and had an idea: instead of giving yourself a pass/fail, maybe use a letter grading system on how accurate you were. That might help account for drafts where you were kinda right/wrong. Keep up the awesome content!
@@ThatFranchiseGuy yeah that would actually be pretty cool, you could average it out and give yourself like a GPA for the whole year. See how accurate you were in assessing that year as a whole
Almost all throwbacks are almost too good. We were foolish to move away from them in the late 90’s-early 2000’s. The 80’s designs will never be beaten.
Wow this surprised me, and I’m a colts fan. They are the division rival that I dislike the most and even I think they’ve been getting really underrated this off-season. That’s gonna be a more than competent offense. And a good secondary.
I think you should include the overall team score so we can see the differences too. Can always show that at the end if you want to wait to reveal. Like knowing the gaps.
i’ll forever have respect for levis after he fucked me in the ass in fantasy his first week as a starter with the 3 touchdowns to hopkins , had ceedee go off for like 30 something and still lost 😭
I feel like you undermined the titans I feel like they have some good pieces. Granted they have a lot to prove for sure. But I feel like they are way higher up in the rankings than this. Also when you were talking about how you doubt JC Latham is a good pick. Look at his performance at the training camps. Bros an ABSOLUTE STUD
Marcus I gotta disagree how low the titans are. I appreciate the respect and hope you are giving levis and I see your points as far as the oline. I understand there’s a lot unproven and uncertain. But the titans have a lot going for them. I mean the wr room is stacked, the RB room is dynamic, there’s a no fly zone with the corners that will be coached by the DB coach from the ravens. I can’t see the giants, cardinals, saints, broncos being above them. I see 9-8 in the titans this year.
If Will Levis takes off watch out this team will shock a lot of people btw i think he will im really a big fan of him give him a better oline than the train wreck he had last season watch out, Spears also i think will stun people also if Chig at TE can take off with way more WR help i don't know how u stop this offense.
Pats Panthers Raiders Giants Skins Vikings Are all clearly inferior teams. TN should be ranked no lower than 24. Didn't love the draft, but the CB and WR corps are both top 10. Levis is definitely slept on, he does have errant throws, but last year with 1 starting caliber WR and maybe the worst o line in the league, he looked like a real qb. Fuck the stats, watch the film. I wouldn't be shocked if they win the division. People are shocked that Vrabel got fired, but dude wanted a 90s offense in the 21st century .
Chase and Higgins missed a lot of time so his target share went up but even the his efficiency has continued to dip. He's just not very explosive anymore.
I don't get why the media doesn't give this team little to no respect they made a lot of moves this off-season and they may have hired an amazing head coach in Brian Callahan who can potentially make Will Levis a Superstar QB that this franchise hasn't had since Steve McNair RIP. Mike Vrabels defensive mind would of probably ruined him low-key.
Always this is what the media does every-time I usally like his review of titans etc but this is slander at this point. Dhop-Ridley and Tyler Boyd alone should’ve raised us above his ranking. We have an amazing corner back room a good running back room our defense won’t be a liability for the most part and the offense should be really good. I can’t watch any videos about the titans it’s seems like every other team has a fanbase but us in the media it’s trash I have had to block a lot of channel cause they piss me off I really wouldn’t of been mad at 24 still a little low to me as I have them around the 20 rank but 29 is fucking ridiculous.
1:34:38 O/U 6.5 UNDER 6.5 Wins - Because The AFC is tough and The NFC North is tough (The Simulation sees the Titans winning 7 games, but it's gonna be close in my opinion)
I was similar with Latham, I could see him as tackle 5 at best but I did look at him as a really high level pass pro, iz, gap, basically everything but oz guard. I still would have taken Olu if they wanted a more polished guy or Mims if they wanted a freak and hes the best freak level tackle prospect ive ever seen personally as his injuries were the only thing scaring me. I get what theyre going for though and I believe the idea is if they keep him about 340 like he showed up at the combine instead of 360 he can still be a brick shithouse but move more agile and better in his mirroring ability. Callahan can onviously coach that type of athlete he may become fundamentally sound and him around 340 could be similar to Wirfs where he was viewed as a better guard immediately our of college as a prospect but physically is a high end tackle in the league. Little bit different than Wirfs with longer arms, bigger hands and more athletic movement questions for being a tackle but thats the same mold still
@@londarousey8767 We'll see how it works out but I wouldn't doubt him to be a good tackle anymore yes. I still believe Mims and Olu were the two best prospects with Fuaga and Alt behind them and then it was Fautanu (will be a good tackle and could play all 5 tbh but I liked him at guard a little better as a zone guard), Morgan, and Latham as far as tackles. Thats what I saw on film
Jeffery simmons not being an elite grade is a big disappointment to me based off what I see on tape. Obviously I have a ton of respect for your opinion and what you see. But I need to know what the process was that led to you designating him as a star as opposed to elite.
Since this video was made, the Titans have signed Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams, and Ernest Jones. I'm curious what you think about these moves and if they change your defense rankings much?
If you watch the Miami and Pittsburgh games, both of which I believe were Thursday Night Football, you see everything Will Levis is capable of, he looked every bit of a great QB in those two, I was a believer during the draft process and he has solidified that belief in my eyes.
Same thing every year are you suprised? The titans get shit on every single chance they get. Want to watch a even worse review watch TPS they put us a number 31 and then rated us the worst team in the league that hasn’t won a Super Bowl when they did another video even having the panthers above us and saying they are better then titans everywhere
I know I’m late on this deep dive but I’m glad the Titans moved on from Mike Vrabel he was 6-18 in his last 24 games he hired his buddies as his offensive coordinators in Tim Kelly and Todd Downing, Vrabel never wanted to adapt or adjust he coached football like it was 1970 I do think Vrabel deserves a second chance as a coach but he needs a good roster in place and he needs to hire people that are qualified and not just people that he knows
I know I am way late too this, but I am curious to know why the arrow is not still pointing up on Cushenberry? Do you think he has reached his ceiling? Is there a physical or mental limitation? Was thinking with Bill Callahan here he could get into that "Stud" tier. Am just curious to know your reasoning. Not a film watcher, so I rely on you for analysis. Need some reason to be excited about this watching this offensive line after the abysmal performances I have watched for two full seasons
There's too much talent on the Titans to be a bottom 4 team in the NFL. They won 6 games last year with an inferior roster, specifically the worst O-Line and weapons with zero separation. Do I think they will win the division? Absolutely not. Do I think they are going to be an exciting team that will be competitive in a vast majority of their games this season? Absolutely yes. They are a dark horse candidate to be this season's Texans. If things fall in favor of Tennessee, they could easily sneak into the playoffs as a 6th or 7th seed. No one expected Houston to make the playoffs last year let alone win the AFC South. Every year a team or two comes out of no where. People are sleeping on Tennessee and the Titans thrive on being underdogs. Let them sleep.
I think there's maybe some more hope here? They kind of have a roster that feels a little similar to the Bucs from last year. Need some thin groups to avoid injury, need some young questions to hit. The Bucs were helped by how awful the NFC South is, but the AFC South has been pretty volatile in recent years (I think I remember the eventual division winner being called one of the worst rosters in recent history?), so what I'm saying is there's a chance.
I’m not very high on Levis reminds me of if Kenny Pickett had GP when he was at a legit crafty all pro level instead of the young immature GP he played with, Hopkins carried him in games like Fitzgerald did with John Skelton
I think people need to stop looking at levis as a 2nd round pick they traded a high 2nd a d high 3rd. If you go by the trade chart even tho he was still a high 2nd the actual value they spent on him was a pick in the 20-24 range. Edit: @58:00 "skronski can put on more weight" have you seen him this year? Dude is massive. If he puts on more weight they could have just moved him to NT lol
Really enjoyed your breakdown, but Radunz said they told him he will be a guard and Brunskill said he is backing up Cush. You can tell by Radunz’s body language in the video that he’s pissed and wants a shot a RT. I also agree that he is better than NPF.
Titans o line was so bad last year. How many qbs got crushed with that group? If the line can be average, Levis may look like an all-star. Led the league in getting hit? That is not a surprise. The offensive o-line was dogwater.
I don't think loosing Henry is the downgrade you think it is. First he likely does t fit the new system regardless of what anyone thinks of him and pollard. Secondly he has been on a slow march downward the last could years. The run blocking unlike the pass blocking hasn't been terrible. Not great but not useless either. Pollard and Henry had basically the exact same production last year and pollard showed signs of improvement as he got future away from the injury. He also will have a back to split carries with here and won't have to be the guy. If you watch all the Titans games it was clear to see Henry has lost a steep, the top end speed is still good but not the game over level it once was. And his already limited acceleration is now starting to be a problem, he can't get to the edge as reliably as before as well as getting to that top speed leading him being caught before he can break the big ones. Not saying Henry is trash just he isnt the king anymore.
I think the AFC South is gonna be a bloodbath this year. Ine of the most interesting divisions to watch with Richardson, Stroud, Levis and Lawrence to all duel each other
You forgot to mention that Pollards lack of consistency had to do with him coming off an injury. Later in the year when he got better he was much more explosive
