You explaining the plot of this book feels like me desperatly describing a dream i had but not finding words because it was so weird and out of this world that there are no words to accurately describe it

The first check in gave me the same feeling of a friend telling me about a "crazy thing that happened at work" but I forgot what her job is and who all the people are but I want to support her so I just happily listen and gauge my responses based off her tone. I loved it.

I haven't read this book but from the the way you told it I think I understand what tyra was trying to do with the moral paragraph you read at the end.All those things she listed seem to be thing that the characters went through in the story, and in the story those characters win at the end. So she's probably trying to tell her audience that even if they've gone through the abuse that the characters have gone though they can make it out and have a happily ever after.At least that's what I got from your retelling.
