DUDE. I grew up in Louisiana and, as a teenager, realized I had SAD during the summer months. As soon as I could feel the first autumn breeze, my depression would lighten up and improve as it got colder. I would spend May-September inside as much as possible. When I moved to Wyoming and Idaho, I had SAD in the winter, like a normal person.

drew talking about seasonal depression in the summer is so real, i am SUPER sensitive to heat and sweat easily, and walks really do keep me sane, so when i cant do that in the heat my mental health really does decline lol

Next time i hope Jordan's knees are even further apart somehow via magic or science or a combo

I relate to Jarvis SO much on the sweat thing.I live in the south AND have chronic anxiety so there's been many times where I was doing the most basic non-exerting activities but then had to go to the bathroom and mop my neck and temples like a southern belle who's about to faint...and yeah the paper towels would come away soaked. it's so inconvenient and cringe...at the gym I look like I'm drowning.

speaking of the chicago conservative fearmongering thing, my father grew up in the suburbs and when i said i wanted to go to a college thats in chicago he would not shut up about gang violence and like dude,,, you have not been to chicago in over a decade, you have not even lived in the state of illinois in multiple decades. i ended up not going to that college but like he was talking so hard out of his ass

The Chicago thing about them having stereotypes of being violent is really similar to Seattle. If you're from Seattle it's sort of just a city that's being gentrified by tech giants, but if you ask anyone not from Seattle (or even in places like Bellevue which is like a 20 minute drive from where I live in Seattle) you here from those people that we're a town overrun by thugs who kill cops. It’s so funny whenever people talk about cities like that. Like, I was talking to my friend about how I’d wanna move back to New York one day(my family moved to the South) and live in the city. It’s really expensive, though, so I was looking into which borough is the least expensive, the Bronx, and she was like, “Oh, but the Bronx is dangerous!”, as if all of the Bronx is this crime ridden, murderer filled area. Like, my *grandparents* grew up in the Bronx(which in my scenario with my grandparents proves my point). There are bad parts of it, sure, but you could say that about, like, any city ever. When I got to the counter I was out of breath and sweating since postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome makes your heart rate speed up and your body's temperature regulation fail. "Did you run here?" "No, I'm just disabled" "OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY" "I'm good, have a nice day!"
