I hate that Nataylia's photos were stolen but whoever was behind the Uma Kompton was an evil genius. In fact, this character was so meticulously put together and developed that I suspect that there was more than 1 person behind its creation.
I remember finding Umas Facebook awhile before it blew up in high school, and it went kinda viral in my hometown. My friends and I trolled the account and we had a back and forth for a month or so, and then she blew up everywhere haha. It was crazy. Everyone in my high school knew who she was just cause she was all over the Facebooks of our towns high schoolers. A true god tier troll
That united britney joke was actually brilliant. Def a professional troll and no one should’ve taken anything seriously that came from her. I just assume she was a persons like Miranda sings or that appropriated chicken shop date girl.

i personally think that after the first ban someone else took over the uma persona and started getting malicious with it. because the account at first was just posting funny shit and then suddenly everything got racist and islamophobic...
I also think for sure it was one of the twitter gays who ran that account. I remember being on twitter when the account was pretty new and they were followers/followed with/by some of the prominent twitter gays atm

The Russian woman who was impersonated could do something about this. I mean that's a clear case of online identity theft, defamation and a bunch of other things. People have gotten in trouble for stuff like that. This was very long-term and methodical too.

Like for example you posted a personally offensive statement on social network under fake acc of a person X, so you can by sued by person X and by person who's dignity was diminished simultaneously. But Natalya for sure couldn't give less fucks If someone used her photos or not lol, she was a meme in RuNet long before Uma Kompton appeared.

People collab all the time on songs and don’t meet. They can just send them the song with their verse on it and they just add it on or just go back in forth through text and put it together. But most times they’ll buy a feature that’s already made

If she does, she needs to find some way to get in contact with Natayla. Someone stole her identity to be racist and if she's still alive, I pray that her and her husband can get justice. The sicko who did this to her needs to be jailed.
Natalya has deleted her VK page and doesn't seem to have a page on any social media right now. Her husband's page has been inactive since 2017, but he has a new protected page (so that only his friends can see photos and other content on his page). Though he hasn't been online on this new page since October 2020 either, his profilepic has him, Natalya and their child(?) on it, so it seems that they both are alive and well (at least as of 2020)

@@monehget fortunately, despite how it looks with her numbers, Uma Kompton was never really THAT big of an account. Realistically, anything below 100k is still pretty small fry. She feels more infamous bc if you were around those circles that could lead to her, you would undoubtedly stumble across her account and become familiar, but in retrospect, she was still only really a minor troll in the mix. It’s unlikely for that to circle all the way back to Natalya in the end, very fortunately.

Disney made a character in 2017 named Uma... and the funny thing is that she is a villain and in the Descendants 3 trailer she used an illusion to make it look like she was controlling a character who is named Dizzy. They even made Uma a song called What's my name. In one of the lyrics it says "No ones gonna stop us soon the world will be ours!" And nobody's stopping this troll. Lol.

i remember when i discovered this account back in 2016, thinking it was funny, and along with the real identity of the woman in the pics, i’m pretty sure natalya also said that it cost her her job or a potential job. the person behind the social media accounts ruined her life for a bit (if my memory serves correctly). i’m surprised EXIF data either wasn’t used find the creator or they know what they’re doing to stay anonymous.

Wouldn’t it be relatively easy to find out who they are? Literally just check who the music is credited to. I don’t think this was a single teenage girl and “her boyfriend”. I believe this was a group of internet friends, some teenagers, mostly young adults, because of all the merch and music licensing involved. And they were having a blast on their little groupchat
