Recently found your channel. I haven’t seen videos that show a creative process so honestly and passionately before. There’s no clickbait, no overdone reactions, no annoying internet tropes… just pure, simple, incredibly captivating, relaxing videos of you showing your process and expertise. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your craft. It inspires me. You deserve every ounce of success you’ve achieved and will achieve.

Thank you James! That really does mean a lot. I've tried to steer clear of the common tropes seen on RU-vid and make the videos I want to make. I appreciate you taking the time to watch 🙌🏼

"trepidatious". I'd never heard that word before. I had to Google it. That's a wonderful word. Thanks Florian.

I started a beginners pottery course last Sunday. We got to use the wheel, supervised by one of the teachers (and again today). It is SO hard (but fun)! You make it look so easy. Pulling up the walls I especially struggle with. Thanks for the video :)

I love doing pottery but since I don't have the resources to do it on my own besides taking a class. I just love the calming voice you have and the skill of doing all this pottery. It looks great :)

Enjoyed the new video & also enjoyed your appearance on The Great Pottery Throwdown; Well done! It was interesting to see skilled people of varying levels of expertise (had to be skilled to get on the show) attempt to pull handles. It served as a reminder to me that pulling handles is a hard won skill of practice & determination. I actually love to pull handles and it's always great to review, learn, and change it up a bit, no matter how many years I've doing it -- it always evolves. . . Thank You!

I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos! Bowls are a struggle for me, so I shall try to incorporate some of your techniques in my next throwing session. Thanks for taking the time to make these!

What diameter has this bowl when you throw it? As usual, thanks for this incredibly well produced and helpful video :)

Hi Florian ! Such an amazing video as always ! I have a question : do you clean your wheel entirely after every session of throwing ? I hate doing it :(
@floriangadsby
@floriangadsby 2 года назад
Thank you! Well, not a big clean. I always clean my tools, the bench in front of my wheel and a bit of the tray, but I leave the slops to build up in the tray for a week or so usually before tidying it up.

Hi Bro. Pottery in my country is one of the original arts, but you were able to combine it with creativity and beauty. Everyone who sees your video loves pottery.⁦❣️⁩ I'm trying to be an entrepreneur and be active on RU-vid. Just like you. I had a question, what camera do you use?
