Hey Sergei. Just a friendly suggestion. To help with the coupling of the hoses. When uncoupling. Shut off the engine then turn the key on and activate the switch then uncouple. This will bleed off the residual pressure in the lines for when you hook up. Good luck. Love your videos. From the west coast British Columbia.
“YES & ROCK AND ROLL” Sergei back on the road again with your Truck Attitude and your Trailer Magnitude....May all your hauls be safe ones. You Rock Captain Sergei Thanks
Captain Sergei have someone lift the jeep with two endless loop slings, one wrapped around each of the frames and find where the slings need to be so that the load hangs balanced, once you find that balance point you’ve just found where to put your D rings. Hopefully this isn’t too late and you can get them mounted so it is balanced! Nice addition to your fleet, can’t wait to see it in action all hooked up!
That pressure on the hydraulic hose problem is why all of my gear has the flat-face style couplers that also have an internal by-pass, so they will always couple up under pressure.
I'm thinking that while your jeep and stinger are loaded on your trailer you may want to take some paint and mark their location on the trailer deck. This will make reloading easier seeing how tight they fit. Eric
Very nice toys Serguei! That’s real ‘heavy metal’ , btw, ever thought of welding a old kingpin to the chassis to store the kingpin lock? Nice and safe travels!
Sergei, it wouldn't cost much to have expanded metal installed over the area in front of the fifth wheel. The shop that did your D-ring welding can easily do that. You will be glad you did
Nice outfit Sergei, too bad they didn't fit D-rings when manufacturing. Be nice to see it all connected up with a decent load on the deck. Best of luck👍
Hi Serguei get the rubber cover's for your hyd ends clean will save the o-rings .Cool new trailer additions also I guess we won't see you in BC in the winter . doesn't look like you have tire chains or room to run then with those Fender's. Drive safe Sir. 🇨🇦 Craig. Oh also if the ball end of the hyd end is stuck or pressured hit on the truck frame it will release. 👍 Oh I have a question 🤔 can you take any of those Peace's off by yourself or only with crane or forklift ??
That broker must watch your channel Mr. Captain Sergei, That was very nice of him to help you out with your new toys. You tube pays off, and help promote your business.
When engaging the PTO push the clutch in and put in gear then engage the PTO and place transmission in neutral and let out the clutch a d that will stop the grinding
When drinking beer from a can, flip the can open, lift the can to your lips, and while the light is still red slowly raise the bottom of the can up to approximately 45% angle. This will prevent excessive gurgling and reduce the chance of beer getting into the lungs.
I think if you jiggle the actuators before you disconnect the hydraulic hoses it won't leave pressure inside the hoses to where they are a pain to put in next time. Works on smaller stuff. Can't see why it isn't the same in all applications
Fluid film, amsoil metal protector,wd40,or similar lube spray.PB blaster is for breaking nuts and bolts lose ,therefore its corrosive and not really suitable for applications where you want to preserve metal from rusting
The issue is residual hydraulic pressure in the lines. It comes from disconnecting the lines while they are still under pressure. Turn off PTO, operate all valves to neutralize the pressure, disconnect the hoses. Should reconnect with ease each time providing that you haven't damaged them by beating on them or deforming the nipples.
rasklopac Then how will he hook the prime mover back to his trailer? I thought the same. De-tatch trailers are a stupid design, should be like Australia and have ramps at the back.
@@pete5044 he would have to disconnect the gooseneck, hook up to the beep, and then, yes he can back it on ( first), then have them place the stinger on.
the kingpin on the standard 101" neck has no locks -- i can pull it out as long as i'm unhooked from the trailer. The extension neck has the king pin WELDED in.
@@heyinway I was thinking of welding the expanded metal to the bottom side of the top rail flanges. Hopefully that would clear the fifth wheel sliding.
@@calvinjutila8270 That would work also, all the sliding action is on top. Just weld steel catwalk to the underneath of the slider rail...not to the horizontal part of the truck frame.
@@heyinway couldn't you weld a couple of hinges there holding an aluminum checker plate so you could flip it up when you not using it and then down again when you do?
why don't you put your D ring on a plate so it is even with the top part of the beam. that way you won't have to put rubber between the chain and the beam. and perhaps a little lube on you hose connections might make them going in a little better.
The reason the couplers are difficult...there is hydraulic pressure at the coupler. There are couplers made that internally bleed off pressure. Also stainless steel couplers that road salt won't destroy so fast.
