I can't get enough of this story. As an educator this is truly inspiring story. It really shows what any of us can do to make a difference in a young person's life.
I'm a 60 year old man from Buckinghamshire England & I've played American football in the British Leagues many many years ago & I love watching American football films & ive seen so many, until the day I saw this one, well Sandra Bullock & the whole family, touched an average man's heart like mine & I had a few tears at the end, the real thouyes are the best, the No1 in my eyes for Humanity !!
I was very touched by the 'Blind Side' story of Michael Oher....Congratulations for him and his adoptive Tuohy family, for the Super Bowl Championship.
Last night my wife and I watched the movie "Blind Side" and WOW...can't tell you how it moved me. So this morning I looked up Michael on the net...I am so proud to be in this country where this kind of story can exist. God Bless Michael and the Tuohy...what great folks.

I went to Briarcrest for seven year's and it was a sacrifice for my parents send my brother and I there. I went to school with two kinds of kinds of kids wealthy and kids that their parents sacrificed everything to send us. But it was a loving school and I got paddled on a weekly schedule by Mr. Clayton and Mr. Child's. I went to to the first High School and I believe it's the Elementary School now. I haven't lived in Memphis since 85. Go Saints! Thanks for the Education Briarcrest a school that if you knew the story how the school came to be that Briarcrest itself is a miracle.
Michael calls Leigh Ann mom, she's the only mother that he's pretty much had in his life. His biological mother has been arrested before. Michael said the relationship with his biological mother over the years has been rocky.

The Toughy family is one to admire! God put you in eachothers path for a reason and that reason is to show people that there are still good people out there. You are awesome Michael!
Amazing, I read the book 2 years ago. Awesome. It speaks volumes of the family that gave him a chance, to take him in their home, adopt him, and love him as they did their very own. God will always grant this family many blessings.
I watched this movie 4 times in 1week (2x alone & 2x with friends). 1 OF THE BEST MOVIE EVER! Never thought a movie can touch & inspire me so much! Micheal Oher: I have A LOT RESPECT for you, all those terrible things that happens to you still never give up & work yourself to the top! I saw this movie when I had a very hard time, I was (still) injuried from a achilles tendon rupture. You inspired me & gave me strength, I wanna thank you for that! Everybody should always believe & never give up!

No offense but religion have nothing to do with this...Not all Christians are good and not all none-Christians are bad. The amazing thing about this is Mrs.Touhy's decision when adopted Michael Oher, a black guy as her son, even though she and her family are all white. Truly to say how many on this planet will do that ? Leigh Ann Touhy is a kind-hearted woman we havent seen one for decades...I didnt believe The Blind Side's story was true until i search on the internet and i really touched ^^
You could tell when Leigh ann bought michael into her home he knew that he found his forever home. If she do what she had done Michael could be dead or in jail.
What a great story! Just think... it took 2 human beings a simple act of kindness to unleash the full potential of a child into a star. The black man who first took Michael to Briarcrest School, and the white woman who met him there and gave him love and a family. Such kindness, and such a huge reward. Well done Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy! I salute you! Thank you for your kindness and for making the world a good place.

AMAZING!,.. absolutely inspiring to see a persons life changed because of the good of strangers. I wish all people would open their hearts and homes like they did and help at least one person along the way.
I'm a Christian but find that the biggest nonsense. Don't ever think as a Christian you are better than others or that none-Christians don't do anything for others. I know non-Christians who do better things with their lives than some Christians I know. Luckily, God doesn't just judge by your 'good' works cause we would hang if that was the case. If you're a Christian you should know better....

This is absolutely amazing. I can't tell how i'm happy to know there is people like the Tuohy family, people that see a problem, know they can do something to help, and help! This is a lesson. I'm not saying we should do the same thing, but at least be open to oportunities where we can give something of ourselfs to make other people's lives better. I take my hat off for Sandra Bullock, the Tuohy family and to everyone that did such a great job putting this story out there for everyone to see.

This is one of the best movie I've ever seen in my life, ( Blind Side ), based on true story, perfect acting and I have some tears when I see this movie, great beautiful life , on top of that LOVE was showed by his teacher, foster parents and people whom involved in his life, God bless y'all.

I am not a football fan but I am a Michael Oher fan now. He was blessed to have a family take him in and love him. It just so happened that these people, his adopted family, were "winners" and driven people. This released his potential and made him who he is today.
Really one of the best Movies i´ve ever seen! Unbelieveble Stage performance especially by Sandra Bullock and all others. I dont cry often. Really not. Im one of these "tough guys" ... but in this move are some moments ... huuuhuuu :-) God Bless people like the Tuohys. These people form hearts.

I recently read Michaels book. It was a selfless humble creation that was obviously written to give kids and adults hope to never stop fighting to better their situation and make the right decisions and choices. This entire story has taught this old man a lesson in humanity when I didnt think I could be taught anything about life. I feel blessed to have become aware of this story and think Mike Oher is one hell of a man.

In such a hateful, shamless, materialistic world..........this story is a fix for any good person having a rough time. Flat out rocks. A kid that started out like that (not his fault) but found purpose & love and now is an inspiration to thousands of kids. Yo Michael,..................you rock bro!
