This video is as relevant and as important as ever. Early Access is still a quagmire of unfinished garbage, including some of these very games. RIP TotalBiscuit.

I miss this guy. It seems fewer and fewer individuals put the time into discussing specific mechanics of gaming development (other than microtransactions).

His criticism was not only insightful, but basically prophetic of the upcoming failure to delivery from these game development companies. DayZ, the first abandoned Planetary Annihilation, 7 Days to Die, Interstellar Marines... the list just goes on and on of all the trash that has come out of early access. There are indeed good games to come out of early access, but it seems to be highly risky.
