The Democrats can nominate someone new in 2028, it was a mistake for them to nominate Joe Biden in 2020, because they made this mistake they will lose the presidency this year, the best thing the Democrats can do is learn from this mistake and not repeat it. If 2020 was a normal year then Donald Trump would right not be finishing up his second term as President not running for it! what would otherwise be happening in 2028 would be happening now, we would have two nonincumbent candidates, one a Democrat and the other a Republican running for President this year, but instead because of the Democrats mistake they made four years ago, they will have to wait another four years to get another chance besides doddering old Biden.

Just glad you can wake up to understand the country was in better hands under trump maybe not in every way but still was a lot more easier and comfortable to live before Joe Biden

Its not all about Ukraine, and America has been isolationist before. What Europe has to do is to learn to be able to defend itself without depending on the United States, that would be a healthy thing for it to do, this is no longer the Post World War II era, Europe is not in ruins, that was a long time ago. Russia is not the power it once was and the rest of Europe can stand up to it by itself if need be.

@@chrimbus71 Ireland is far to the west, it doesn't particularly feel threatened by Russia, all it wants to do is make use of Europe's economic area to advance its own economy, but Ireland is a small part of Europe, it took no part in World War II. I think Germany has an important role in the continent's defense as does the UK and France, and Poland wants to defend its own territory as its right up there. Europe's defense strategy should not be dependent on American participation, they must be prepared to go it alone if need be. The United States would be wise to help them, but Europe should not be dependent on the United States helping them.

The United States survived one Trump term and it will survive another. A Trump presidency may be more of a problem for Ukraine, but not if the rest of Europe steps up to the plate and provides the assistance that Ukraine needs. Trump may yet be convinced, the man is capable of changing his mind, and you must realize that Trump is using the Ukraine war and America's participation in it as an election issue against Biden. Once Trump wins, the Ukraine War, if it is still going on will be his issue, if Trump loses it it will be his loss and America's defeat, so Trump might very well change his mind about helping Ukraine for political reasons once he is president again.

Newsome isn't even liked in California, and that state's turning into a wreck. I'm not sure what he'll debate Trump on.
