28:24 to answer: yes, skip qualifying. Having played this game myself, starting at the back definitely is more fun but not doesn't make winning impossible, it's still a bit too easy. But that also depends on your skill level. It'd work perfect for you

Great video! Played this loads on the PSP as a kid, along with Gran Turismo and FlatOut Head On! Seem to remember I did at least 2 full 100% seasons in career mode, time well spent! 😂 In terms of the difficulty, you could turn all the assists off, can't remember how much difference it makes, but might do something. Starting from the back is a thing I did as well. Also remember that there was some sort of trick to get your teammate to qualify much higher, something to do with switching cameras while spectating from the garage, to slow the other cars down a bit, whilst making sure you and your teammate get into the next session. Got Bourdais into 4th once 😂 But who knows, it's been 10 years since then! 😂 Either way, I'll be watching all of this series! All the best! :D

I think the performance may be based on round 3 or so, when Toyota were easily third best team on the grid and could challenge the top 2 on occasion And yes, Vettel crashed into Kubica in Australia 2009 like you said - both of them were actually in the fight for the win, with Button losing lots of time on slower tyres and Barrichello far behind

Growing up when there was no choice but to play racing games using a controller/the wheels were either stupidly expensive or not very good, and then got into using a wheel later (and as a result being weak-to-mid at it) I found it so odd to hear that you just don't play racing games with a controller, it's wheel only, such is how much easier it is to start racing with a decent setup these days. I'm old, I get it. 😂

You should do a career by playing every F1 game from 2009 onwards i did that once and it was quite fun

Whenever I played this game, I usually did 25% races, cos the tyre wear was awful and had to do a 2 stop while the AI did a 1 stop, a good challenge when the AI is 2 seconds a lap slower than my Force India

I played this a hell lot before buying a pc
