Coming out of a rivian, and into my real car after a 10 hour shift, makes me feel low to the ground 😂.

I've been lucky enough to drive the new Rivian EV's....THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!

i worked in the rivian plant, in the paint department, cool to see these things in your guys' hands

Note on the wireless charger, it does work but it seems to be in a SUPER specific spot to connect

The buttons on the right side of the steering wheel are for the adaptive cruise control

Dude you make this job seem like a such a great time. Im about to start my training for Amazon here soon. Just have to wait for my background check to go through one more time because i messed up signing in through the Amazon Flex app 😂😂😂. Thought i was supposed to use my personal email but i didnt read the message at the bottom that they sent me, to NOT USE MY PERSONAL EMAIL LMAO. Luckily my DSP said i just need to get the link sent to me again and ill be able to redo it. Happy my drug test is valid so i wont need to go in for that again, just need to wait for my background check to go through. Really looking forward to this full time position because i was working in retail for the last 6 and half years, worked at HEB in 3 different positions over the 6 years. This is definitely going to be a nice change in working since one of my biggest passions is driving, also currently doing Uber on the side rn until i get the hrs i need. If anyone has any tips for loading the cargo vans or whatever they are going to put me in first please lmk! Hoping at some point once i work with my DSP long enough that they will put me in one of the Rivians becuase they seem like a lot of fun to drive. Not too sure if we have them because i drove by my work location and didnt see any but that was after most of the vans and truck left for their routes. I know i read online that Austin does have some of the Rivians but im not too sure if my DSP got any in yet. Cant wait to start my training hopefully sometime next week once everything goes through, wish me luck!! 🙌🙌

The heated seat button on the bottom right of the screen is only for the passenger jump seat.

Does having the map help you with going faster? Like by picking what stops to hit instead of always back tracking

As a Amazon driver I wish we had these we have the old vans that are on their last leg and a bunch of rental vans because we can’t get any vans

Yes, I'm sure someone's already said it, but the EDV has cooled seats, event a vent the blows on your neck. As for the wireless charger, we have it, so it seems to vary by DSP. I wanted to do a video about the Vivian but somehow my video turned into just another delivery video lol and I'm not a good editor either.

Are you using two phones one for flex and one for mentor? If so you have to use mentor on the same device you use flex on.

Wireless charger does work, but you have to have a phone that actually supports wireless charging.

Do Amazon assign you the same van every day?

as a rural route driver, its not gonna cut the mountainsides and rugged terrain i had to drive, good for the city and flat grounds maybe. i like it. Definitely not gonna replace all Amazon vans tho as much as i would like them to because they are awesome

Isn't it annoying that these don't have side doors? Like you have to go into the back in order to get packages. Seems like that would take more time and you're going up and down stepping into the van to get the packages

The driver side should be a sliding door. Needs 4 wheel drive and higher ground clearance. Most phones don't support wireless charging and if they do the magnet on most of the rabbits block it

I feel like someone need to put a bodycam on themselves when delivering for az cuz that van is not going to make it. And I doubt we got the equipment to charge all the vans

My area doesn't even have a DSP Amazon stuff is delivered by usps or UPS and not by Amazon itself so outside of the internet I've never seen am Amazon delivery vehicle

I just read these vans only do 150 miles per charge and takes 18hrs to recharge. How far do you guys drive daily? Do these new vans have AC?
