Be kind to your good Dad. When you work side by side your body structure and movements are almost identical. You also seem to anticipate each others needs and work as a team. Confession is good for the heart. Don't you feel better having admitted to your mistake? Keeps you humble, too. Don't ever forget that you love each other. God bless you all.
..what I like..while dad is away seth hops to another project that needs done instead of grabbing the truck and going to his friends..there is hope for young people..🤭🤭🤭
Yes, changing the head (again). Glad you identified the need to change the bean head. I am certain some viewers think all combine "heads" are the same. Keep goin......
good that you take care of your soil, cause if that goes on all your neighbors farms then the next thing will be the stable rains, longer dry spells, so make sure to spread the word, healthy soil healthy people, healthy communities.
I can't say I wasn't speeding, guilty smile. Hopefully you did both sides. I like that creeper, nicer than mine. Ok, looking forward to the next one. Good video. Peace.
Better hope the cops don't watch your channel lol. Have you become an executive farmer? The white shirt gives you away. lol. Enjoyed watching you do your farm work. thanks.
My goodness those headers have a bazillion hookups, I would need a color code or a cheat sheet😁. What do you do with the corn, use for cattle feed, edible corn product or ???
Mistakes are just educational tools for adults lol-- That is my theory anyway. Great Video- just remember it is not how many or how bad the mistake are that matters, it is how you react to rectify the situation. God Bless and Be Safe :)
Get PINK duct tape. Write "Don't forget the wire", with a Sharpie, on a strip of tape so you can wrap it around the wire and stick the sticky sides together to make a reminder tag. Also, make another one for the cab of the combine. You could also make one to put on the bean head. And, please slow down and don't be in a hurry!! Many a farmer has lost a finger, hand or limb because they were "in a hurry".
Did you replace bearings on both sides since you were getting parts and had the unit out? What practice do you usually follow when only one side has a failed part - just replace one side, or both? Or, does it depend on the cost of repair?
Never saw you change the rotor speed from high speed to low speed and assume you don't have a chopper and the hook ups under the throat to attach the corn head. I have a 1666
You learn a lot from mistakes. Kinda like the guy who unhooked his gooseneck trailer then drove out from under it without opening the tailgate. I saw it happen and was so glad it wasn't me.
