I spontaneously flew to Sweden for my brothers 30th birthday! Here are a few days of eating vegan in Gothenburg, Sweden. You can probably guess what I ate! Also, I met a cat and named him Jim.

Love your video! Regarding your statement on Gothenburg not having many vegan restaurants, I would say it is not very true. From my experience growing up in Gothenburg, I would say that many restaurants may not be advertised as vegan, but they often offer vegan options, especially if you ask them to make it vegan. My favorite ones are Eat Pokeh, Holy Greens and Ramen Ya. They have many nice restaurants around Linneplatsen which I think you may enjoy! :)

Additionally, some more ideas on what to do in Gothenburg, Haga is a beautiful place! Also in summer, the islands around the coast lovely. It is also very accessible since boats are a part of public transport ;)

"it's difficult to find vegan in Gothenburg"?? Sweden is the #2 most vegan country in all of Europe! Did you also try the McVegan at McDonald's?

You really missed out, there are so much vegan food in Gothenburg so I have no idea how you didn't find that much or would state that. Also us vegans tend to not go to that burger place because it's not great. Sayur or Blackbird is the place to go.

Yeah, in Sweden no one really wears masks anywhere. It’s not an obligation! I think I only saw like 2 people wearing masks the entire time I was there. It really did feel normal for a while! 🥺
