To answer your question: a film preset can still not beat film, as for your editing I'm able to pick it out every single time, the one with the more natural looking grain and the more vibrant colors and contrast just to happens to be film, tonally I suppose they look similar, but in some examples that's not true either 3:08 is just too muted, film looks great. It's either not close enough or not possible.
it's so easy to recognize what is film what is digital thought, i would've thought you did an uno reserve and the old switcheroo. the digital preset is so obvious, with it's lack of pale green undertone and low contrast image, and the most giving away part is the artificial grain just down right awful to the eye ( the photos were okay tho )
