Always loved grievous, when i was a kid and found out about star wars i was obsessed with him. As i got older i was always sad how little screen time or acknowledgement he gets. Truly is the goat.
Everything about these few seconds is just genius and amazing. Yourself using a lightbar to create the lightsaber glow on yourself is just genius, I bet it reduces afterprocessing time a lot compared to the normal stick thing masking it in after effects. The false hope created by grieveous, who was known for his sadistic side pays the character some decent respect. And the little mechanical chuckle in the end makes it perfect. I hope Disney will not strike you back to the Stone Age and you can proceed creating awesome art!
so pretty much the main character {a jedi[someone who weilds a lightsaber and deals in the force(the force is like a 6th sense like telekinesis)]} was exploring what looks to be an enemy ship during the Clone Wars (a series of wars between good and evil (jedi and sith where most if not all of the soldiers were either clones or robots). The big robot guy with 4 lightsabers' name is General Grievous. When he kills a jedi (he's pretty good at that) he takes their lightsaber (usually bad guys have red lightsaber) So the jedi saw the one lightsaber ignite and thought it was a fellow jedi but when the rest lit up he realized that it was General Grievous
The two factions with the lightsabers are the Jedi (the dude is a Jedi) and the Sith. The Jedi have lightsaber colors like green and blue while the sith use red. However, the other character (General Grievous) is a cyborg made by the sith who kills Jedi and uses their weapons, so the Jedi originally thinks it is another Jedi but realizes that it is Grievous
@@Wealth_Atlashe seems to be either a knight or a padawan, so I’ll doubt that he’ll be able to efficiently take down this absolute monstrosity purely on the force alone

Better than half of the shit they’ve been putting out in theaters with full budgets Edit: It’s dope that the comment blew up a bit but I’m not bashing the movies, obviously between a RU-vid short and a 2.5 hour theater release the differences are astronomical so a “true” comparison isn’t really fair or possible, I was just referring to how it caught my attention and the writing and acting. In this short I felt more involved with the StarWars universe then I did watching the last few movie installments and shows. It doesn’t feel written to be Star Wars anymore, and this clip helped recapture the feeling for me personally. Again- it’s super dope how many different ways yall took it. Makes me want to start podcasting just to hear more people talk.

Interesting, you covered the side of the blade to be able to add the effect in post, but you kept one side uncovered so the light still illuminates your face. That's awesome.
