Maaaaaaaan!!! My wife and I cruised to the Bahamas in April of 2008 and I swear we had the same dude for the water taxi….😂😂😂😂.We were so tripped out from the boat ride to Atlantis we took a regular Taxi back to the boat with another couple. Crazy…😂😂😂😂

Y'all crack me up! It was so funny to listen to your first cruise horror story. So I thought I would share ours as it was a a Disaster! Long story but worth it :D We had a 7 nt. cruise going to Key west, freeport and nassau. First night, hubby gets a headache so goes to bed early. 2nd day.. get off in Key West and all was fine but by the end of the day I wasn't feeling well so got back on the ship and laid down in the cabin. Within a couple of hours I had a fever, cough and sweating. Hubby goes to the convenience store and spent $17 on a bottle of nyquil. Next day was a sea day.. I was full blown sick so stayed in bed all day while hubby wondered around the ship bored and having to eat by himself. Next day was freeport.. but, we weren't able to dock because of high winds. I was still sick so that was fine but now hubby is getting really bored. I was finally feeling better but now hubby has a bad headache again. I have him taking advil every 4 hours but his headache wasn't going away.. Next morning Nassau. I was feeling so much better and so excited to get off that ship. We had an excursion scheduled with Carnival so went down to the meeting place to find out, it was cancelled due to high surf. So now we are like.. What the heck do we do?? So we got a cab and went to Atlantis where we thought we could go to the beach.. like, you, Nope. So walked around as long as we could, a couple hours maybe. Got back into a 'taxi' to head back to the ship .. but not until they had to stop and get gas LOL. So we are back on the ship and go sit in the hot tub. Met some nice guys and chatted but hubby kept trying to fall asleep. I'm like dude.. wake up! We then go to dinner - this is the first meal we had to together this whole time since I was so sick and all. At dinner, he just couldn't shake his tiredness so we go back to the cabin. I get ready for bed and get my pill container .. ummm.. " Hey babe, where are my sleeping pills??" ... Turns out, he was taking 2 sleeping pills every 4 hours, not Advil!!! OMG lucky he is alive LOL... our last day of the cruise was a sea day and I just sat at that pool all day long and drank. It was by far the worst vacation we ever had. All we wanted to do was get in the ocean and snorkel and we didn't get our feet in the sand one time and I almost killed my husband LOL.. Since then I have been on 10 cruises and love it..

The toilet story is hilarious but I am trying to figure out how he was able to flush the toilet while sitting down. The button to flush the toilet is behind the toilet cover in the middle. There is probably a reason for that. 😂😂😂

Omg I have laughed so much my hubby came in to check on me,,, he was like what the crap is so funny… I was like I think we took the same cruise as this couple… lol my hubby was almost doing the chanting thing…. 😜😜he swore if he ever got to land he would never cruise again!!!! But we have been on several since then and they’ve been great 😊😊

Well, thank God y’all mentioned not to flush the toilet while sitting on it, because I’ve never heard that on any of the cruise videos I’ve been watching for the last few months. 💀💀💀 at least y’all got a funny little show. 😅

😱 OMG! I would have stopped cruising too. That's actually scary the white (kidnapping) van 😳! Also, it's a funny story, girl your eyes 👀 shut down. Not to mention the chant "let me off this ship" 😂! My first cruise was not great, but not so bad that we didn't try again. We went on another cruise the next year and had a blast! Now we cruise every year. Until unfortunately, the pandemic hit and there went our vacation life. I absolutely love cruising. We'll be getting on the Mardi Gras in June. I'm like a child waiting for Christmas morning to open gifts trying to keep my excitement contained. I really enjoyed your story! I always enjoy watching you two! God bless!

LAWD!!!! My first cruise was to the Bahamas and it was CRAZYYYY! 1. The tour guide didn’t want to take us to beach we WANTED to go to… was cussing us out and all…. 2. The bus on the way back felt like we was gonna fall through the bottom… it broke down for about 5 min. I was praying to everybody and they granddaddy to get back to that boat 🤣😭

🤣 I lucked out. Had my first cruise that was on Carnival. The only mistake I made was overpacking. We had the earliest time for embarkment (10a I believe) and was on lido taking pictures and with a drink in my hand by 11:30a. I read the Carnival information (what to bring, what is prohibited, etc) a million times and asked a million questions to my friend who has been on maybe dozens of cruises. Our room was right at the stairs and just above us was the theater area where they had shows which was mere steps from the lobby. Though pricey, I booked excursions through Carnival for the comfort of knowing that if there were issues getting back to port on time (like transportation) they would wait. I had a great time and would certainly do it again.

I haven’t even been on my first cruise yet , I’m going next month for my honeymoon. I’ve watched all the videos about Carnival cruises on your channel, downloaded the packing list, and even bought 90% of the bags, clips and creams you suggest ……but I would bet you I’ve watched this video 50 times and I think I laugh harder each time I watch!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I got on Willie’s boat several times and honestly- it’s the cheapest/fastest route to Atlantis. I was more concerned when I took the taxi back to the boat. Lord, I hate y’all had that experience. But, take Willie’s boat. You won’t drown. They tried to get us with the white van at night too. My massage was deadly. She beat the hell out of my back- I was red as a lobster and mad! Never again. I understand all of y’all’s experiences. 🤣

I am a TA now as well, started cruising in 2011. So much has changed since my first cruise. When I tell you, I was SHOOK on my first cruise. I can relate so much to this! Y'all had me crying laughing.

You guys are hysterical!!! My last cruise was with 60 other quilters, a panama canal cruise, and one of the quilters got in to a fist fight with their roommate and she got kicked off the cruise before we even left!!!

I am laying in the bed laughing at you! That was some cruise you went on. However, I know what you are talking about with those water taxis in the Bahamas. I had followed another cruise vlogger and they would take the water taxis all the time. Truth be told it is a beautiful ride but scary as hell. I was looking for the life vest myself and what I saw was old vest and they only a handful. I was praying all the way. I can’t swim at all. I was scared and was not the only one who felt like me. That experience told me not to get on ever again,

Wow, so funny! Just found you guys and love this video! I can relate some, our first cruise was really great, we had help booking. But our first port was Montego Bay, went to the cruise talk to learn what to do and not to do. Went on a 'ship sponsored' shopping tour - OMG all I wanted was to get back to the ship. Armed guards surrounding a chain link shopping area, so agressive, scared the hell out of me. Because if was our first time travelliing, I had never seen the guys with the machine guns. They promised we could go back to the ship anytime but they didn't say you had to go back with some guy who is outside the compound. I was sure I was going to be killed. I have never been so happy to get back on board a ship as I was that day.

My parents paid for everything so now that I’m looking to book a cruise for my husband and myself I feel like I need to do all the research I can! I plan on binge watching y’all’s videos all weekend! Hey, hubby and I got off in Freeport and did a kayak / beach picnic excursion. It was AMAZING!! I wasn't feeling a kayak adventure but he talked me into it and it was great. I highly recommend it.

Lawd 😭🤭😬 I’m glad y’all have it another go! That was quite the cruise from hell! I’ve been on five so far and haven’t necessarily had a bad cruise but have been on ships where a person died during the cruise, another time a teen’s appendix ruptured and they had to be airlifted by the coast guard, and another time a couple got left in Key West after their watches were set to the wrong time 😩🤦🏽‍♀️ It took them a day and a half to catch up with the ship in the Bahamas!

My first cruise was with NCL around 2003, we wound up going through hurricane Bonnie! Our Capt Nemo thought it was a good idea to leave Bermuda ahead of the storm while all the other cruise lines waited. Needless to say it was 48 hours of hell! In the end all the other ships passed us heading into NYC!!!
