I am 74 years old. This song makes me think of all the good times in the 80's. Wish I was back there. Life now is too hard. For the young enjoy your youth whilst you can, it will pass you by too quickly. Enjoy this music !
I hear you brother. I'm 50 and grew up in the 80's. Raised 2 boys with my wife and now we sit back, enjoy life, and reminisce about what we did in our youth and what we can do now to make more memories. Before it is too late. The 80's was by far the best decade ever. So much fun, so many different kinds of music.
100% it ALL passes far too QUICKLY, my dad told me this fact many, many times yet I thought back then he was kidding me on, how wrong was I ? I am 60 yrs old now, sigh ! Great rendition of a Great song/tune !

Covid, wars, murderers, corruption , getting old are just a few things that could bring tears. Listen to stuff like this WILL bring tears to your eyes but in a good nostalgic way.
Thank you Lord I was a teenager in the 80’s. A great time for music and to be a young person! Now in my 50’s I still love this music! It takes me back to the best times of my life😊 The 80’s will be Forever in my heart❤️❤️❤️
It's so easy to get lost in the music from that time period. Just sit back, close your eyes, and let the music take you back to a better time (at least for music). :-)
their was actually talent and hard work that went into these artists work...now its all done electronically and bands don't have to be present in all the recording they mix the tapes up and voice over it.. rubber stamps if you ask me.
Wow, this is the best edited/extended version out there. The 1st 5 minutes are heaven, then the vocals come in and you're back in heaven again. This song will never ever leave me. I get goosebumps every time i listen to this.
The 80s was a great time to grow up. I didn't see it then, but certainly now looking back on it. A relatively simple time compared to now. Certainly the last decade of great Pop music in my humble opinion.
I would not sit in the shadows and I was determined to be happy again. The dating websites helped. I prayed, begged God to use them to help me find someone I could love and would love. After the bewildering introduction to Space Age Love Surfing I found there, through the chats and calls and emails with those women who wanted me to take their hand only to find their being on one coast and me on another wasn't helpful, she and I met. The woman was no "bounce back" piece .. she was a breath of warm air to my thawed heart and she adored me. She made great conversation and was a humble yet elegant woman whose manner was common and warm. She was lusciously compact with a disarming smile and whose kids I knew I could come to love. We finally met a few days before Christmas. She loved to hold my hand. I melted the first time she did. I could see a longing in her that matched mine somehow. Her eyes and mind made me cry and for a little while I really was falling in love .. for a little while ..
No matter where my mind is this song in any of its versions immediately fills my heart my soul and my mind with happiness and joy. There are lots of wonderful songs out there but this one does it more than any and it always has. Try not to smile...
Love the 80's. I saw F.O.S. at the Palladium in Montreal in the mid 80's. It used to be a roller skating rink. It was so cool. I was in my early 20's then. Nothing compares to those days.
I was born too soon to be around such good music... (1999) I wonder how awesome it was like to have been alive in the 80’s. They just don’t make music like this anymore...
An amazing time to grow up. The music, MTV, the movies were great, tv, it was all so awesome! The world did not seem such a dark and dreary place then. I miss it!
That's wonderful. An absolute piece of gold from unforgettable '80s. Back to the time when music was music, with armonies and beauty. Dreaming over and over again...
I was 6 years old when it first came out... I'm enjoying it even more now in my 40's. I just Love how music can instantly transport you to a different time and place. 👍
Masterpieces should be granted to be played and reach these levels of excellence. It’s clearly a breath of fresh air, even almost 40 years, still lift my spirit higher and higher. EPIC!
Is anyone listening in 2022? I will always have real emtions..my old boyfriend played this at his club! To this day..I love him & we are soulmates!!💞❤🖤
I was I my 30's when this song was first released.Always liked Flock of Seagulls, keep visiting them every now and again.Just picked up this mix a couple of weeks ago and it set me off again. It is a really good version but I still like like to play the original versions really loud on my car system.I'm 72 now and keep telling my grandkids that they didn't invent good music (most of todays is pants, but I have a liking for hard core rap). You are never too old to enjoy good music.
Outstanding, you've made a Great song Evenbetter. . Reminds me of my days in San Antonio, TX in my high school years at John Jay HS ,,go Mustangs.Pam Wilde I,will always remember you, Robert E.!!!!!!
This is the best remix of this song. I have tons of remixes from the 80s and this one is by far the best. Thank you so much for this remix, Jimmy! Wow! ☝️
Did you listen to it all the way through? The full vocals start at 5:01. The point of this edit was to start with the instrumental and then finish with the vocal, very similar to the “Night Versions” in many early Duran Duran songs. It gives you the chance to fully enjoy the beautiful music in this updated version before the vocals start. Basically, the Orchestral version of this song is so amazing that it could actually stand on its own as an instrumental. :-)
@@thejimmy6533 sorry I'm a dumbass. I listened to the beginning and then skipped through to see how the rest of it was out together, missed the vocals, landed on the start of the brass, and then paused and made the comment lol.
My goodness, I was like 19 when this came out, WHAT A TUNE !!! I'm now aged 60, we ALL grow old and die, folks watching this, plz get yourselves right with The Lord Jesus as ye NEED him in your lives so as to gain Entry into His Father's Heaven.
