You know when you are from the darkest deepest depths of the Mids when something does an 0121 😂 Just done a couple of hours binge watching you and I'm ready to get out on the bank again, my BAA ticket has just kicked in so I hope to do a few stretches on the Severn and a couple of canals in the near future.
I blanked yesterday on the canal , sort of had a 6th sense and knew before I got there, shame too as first outing with new rod, maybe next time, great vid as always 🎣
Bang on steve uve had a belting week last week had a few pike, this week managed to get out and only seen 6 fish and had two follows, no bites while the lads are catching all week 🙈🙈🙈 roll on the next one 🤣👍
Great seeing someone fish my local waters guessing the first spot is a kdaa stretch not fished there waters yet nice to know there's fish in there cause I struggle to find them lately 🤣need to get down on the Severn might go Friday 💪. Great vids keep at it
@@BlackCountryPiker that's what I have if ever your about when I am I'll be sure to say hi. You've been a big help in learning the ropes in the past year I've been fishing 🎣
Thank you very much 🤘 hopefully down on the lower Severn next week after zander and big pike with big baits 😂. Did you lads record anything on your last trip?
Hey up Steve top video mate, when that tumour Pike hit the jig fly after giving the run around I punched the air & then swore like a good un when it came off. What the Chuffing Hell is that in the sky on your left towards the yop of the screen! it just apears from nowhere moves upwards then stays dead still for a few seconds then it moves towards centre screen & then it buggers off , have a look it's between these times though it's only small 12:50 13:18 I thought that it was a drone but it just apears in the sky from nowhere, very strange. All the best.
Yea, I found that stretch frustrating too. Nath was catching Perch in that bit you had the Perch, but it went very quiet close in later on he said, but further out was fishing nicely for Chub. The Pike with the tumour, it could have been the one Rich saw, his not sure now, but still thinks it was a 20lb'er. Melv's Pike was a decent 8lb+ from that peg his pb and had a fresh mark on it, but no tumour. The water further up looks like cracking Barbel water, but the walk with the gear... yea i'll pass... Nice Perch, nice Pike, no tail between legs going home is a good day. Damn, I gunna have to catch a fish and mention you in a video now... 👍👍👍
😂😂 no worries mate, I wonder if dead bait will be the trick. There’s decent runs between a few deep pools. I recon there’s big everything throughout here
@@BlackCountryPiker I took Perch lure rod with some pike lures and deadbait rod when we went here, Melv was all Pike, but no flies other than the one he caught on. I trotted deadbait in most the pegs that had access and decent water, roach and herring and pinned it to bottom when I could without luck. The Pike i had was on a AGM Fishing small Crayfish lure. The Pike that Rich said was 20lb ish took a live Roach that he was bring in on maggot feeder. I saw the splash from from the peg opposite the No Diving platform 😫😫 but couldn't say it was a massive Pike... And Nath didn't have the best of views. But that water is very deep and the current in places wow! It got to hold something decent surely??
@@BlackCountryPiker Yea scary deep, also some of the pegs had current so fast it removed deadbait from hooks. Go Alverley one of the pegs there, you cast and your line nearly goes to vertical, no kidding 😁😁😂😂
Did you say you were on a BAA water on the Severn ? Where abouts is that the river looks mint ! Would love to give it a go for the perch and pike. Cheers
Cracking job on the pike 👌🏻 I fish the Severn a lot at Bridgenorth, my recent video has got some decent barbel on there if you’re thinking of giving it a go. I’m the opposite to you, I’m a barbel fisherman trying predator fishing for the first time this year, caught a couple of little jacks and some perch out of the canal but I’ll be heading for the severn Sunday potentially to give them a go. Your videos are really helpful showing methods to try! Much appreciated from one angler to another!
Just watched your recent upload, rob mitchell mentioned fishing a few pegs up from there when we did a walk on behalf of the angling trust. Some big fish to have around there. It’s just parking that’s an issue. Good luck for Sunday 👍
Yes Steve, Top vid dude. Dont know if you've watched the latest vid, but I've been on fire with the barbel in last couple of weeks. 16lb was biggest. Message me on Instagram if you wanted any info other than the venue you had in mind. Keep up the good work dude. 🤠
