BIG River PERCH on the FLOAT..! RED LETTER Session on the River Severn! 

Join me as I target Perch on the float on the River Severn.. A quick 2 hour session turned into a very memorable trip to the banks of the Severn with multiple 2lb+ Perch!

See how I approach the session using very simple tactics, feeding lots of maggot and trotting a lob work down a really nice slack to trip up plenty of specimen size Perch.
The equipment & bait used is as follows -
Rod - Korum Glide 14ft
Reel - Abu Garcia 507 MkII Closed Face Reel
Line - Korum Glide Mono 6lb
Float - Korum 4g Avon Float (shot with a 2.75g olivette)
Hook - Size 8 Wipe Gape Pattern
Feed - Red Maggots (2-3 pints used)
Hookbaits - Lob Worms tipped with Red Maggot
