True, we have some creazy politicians in the governament....if something gonna comes from the East they will not ask in nice way :v :v :v We have something caled "Territorial defense troops"...creazy ex-mil and young guys with military background, who just wait to use guns on real target 0,o They are prepare to conducting independent, unconventional and discouraging troops activities. Basically on the day one they are going to the forest/or city and hold ground untill real military gona help.

@@nikdaw12 Also wrong, Territorial Defense Troops are owned, trained and regulated by the government, a regiment of volunteers of many backgrounds, ages, and genders. They are trained as first responders among the civilian population in cases of natural disasters, invasions, terrorist attacks etc. mostly to defend and rescue local populace within their region/woyevodship. They are literally: the weekend soccer mom army. Painting them as some sort of paramilitary or pmc is... well I try not to use the r-word anymore but you know what I mean.

I mean, correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm pretty sure ArmA Three's original concept was an alien invasion before being scrapped. If that is accurate and the one who told me wasn't speaking out of their ass, then this feels more like giving that original idea justice.

@@invertedv12powerhouse77 That doesn't mean much. I speak russian fluently and do not understand polish or ukrainian in the slightest. There are words that are similar but the languages amongst slavic countrys are very distinct. I just wanted to point out that the russian voice acting is very good.

@@JPG.01 yea i think what he is referring to, is that a slavic company would pay as much attention to russian Voice Actors as to American. If you played the standard campaign you can also notice the Militia speaking english with a greek accent which is just amazing for such a "niche" game.

@Eltaccos I've yet to buy it myself so I'm not sure about the story beyond what I've seen from a few channels but it doesn't seem like their arrival is properly explained, though if I had to guess judging by the alien's behaviour they're probably there to help at first, but after the LDF makes their pro gamer moves and attacks I wouldn't be surprised if the aliens are supposed to return in greater force in a future update or ArmA title, given the way the airwaves at the end of the DLCs credits get blasted with alien transmissions during the last few seconds.

@@Ijisakura id love if they made part 2 for this and give players the option to play as the aliens kinda like a elites vs spartans kind of mode all they need to do is reslkin existing vechiles and guns if they worried about balance issues

​@@Ijisakura I think that what's going on is: There are *two* groups of aliens. The group that planted the 'roots' and the group with the ships. The roots are spread throughout the galaxy, overtaking planets and doing... something. If I had to guess, something like... collapse the planet into a wormhole to create a transport network? The ships, quite simply, came to stop this from happening. Their intention was benevolent - or at least helpful to humanity, but when the Livonians opened fire on them, things got hairy. Either out of spite or possibly because they were concerned the attack would escalate to an actual threat, the ship in Hopi warped out. Fortunately you were able to stop the Livonians from destroying the core and unleashing its tremendous power, and without the others it's inert... at least for now. And then at the end, some time later, the ships came back, the sudden burst of static caused by the wake of their warp drives. It's not clear why, but I suspect it's in order to get reinforcements. Hopefully they aren't feeling too spiteful, and just want to secure the core, rather than actually using their warship or whatever on us.
