Daniel Travelstead 1. One night I had been in the balcony to watch a movie, but on my way to my bus stop I realized I left my shoulder bag at my seat. Fortunately, I got there just as the manager was about to lock the front door, so I sprinted up to the balcony to fetch my purse, and when I got up there, there was a seat in the seventh or eighth row on the main floor that was glowing. When I told the manager, she said that the janitors complained about it all the time. 2. One weekday I was working a matinee, my coworker behind the counter had gone out on an errand and the manager was in the office. I was behind the counter, organizing the candies, when I heard a loud knock on the wooden part of the counter, but there was no one there. The movie wasn’t loud, so it wasn’t that, and there was absolutely no one in the lobby. 3. One night I was in the area behind the screen, pulling letters for a new marquee, when one of the old chains from an earlier, smaller screen just suddenly started going. I was the only person back there, and the chain was at least 10 feet away, and it wasn’t attached to anything. That one really gave me the creeps. 4. One night I was closing, so after the show was over and the bars had been put on the side doors, the manager and I did a walk-through, looking for left behind coats, bags, umbrellas, etc., and when I was heading back into the lobby, a sudden small wind went past my head and in my right ear I heard someone whisper “Mary Rose.” That one was the creepiest of all. I’m getting the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it, and I now live four hours away fro there. Satisfied? 👻👻👻

I grew up in a CT house too. It's the only house we had really weird things happening. I still remember waking up to someone standing over me, to walking through my bedroom surrounded by glowing masses, waking up to a horse head staring at me, and having insane nightmares. The houses before and after that didn't bug me or my family at all. Honestly, I put the whole thing to being young and having a vivid imagination. But when I told some stories decades later and then my sister piped up with her own... that's when I started wondering about that house.
