@@justayoutuber1906 Just as a heads up, this machine runs about $200. As a person that has worked on many sewing machines, it's a computerized machine. Since they commonly have electricity issues over there, I hope there are no surges or outages that will cause the machine to have problems. And, since it's computerized, it is much more difficult to work on it than it is on a manual machine. They will have to take it into a shop every 1-2 years as the only way to oil it is internally which means taking off parts (possibly computerized parts) to refresh the oil or replace a part. It would be expensive to maintain - and probably why so many sewists over there use manual machines, which can be oiled from the outside and have less expensive parts. That being said, it was a very generous gift and very thoughtful of the giver!
The PKR at 100,000 is actually equal to only $436.77 American. Also this model can be around $250-$300 depending on what store you go to. However that doesn't include shipping across the world, which would make this gift more expensive than the stores price.

This machine has many features that will give her an opportunity to sew fancy trim, make reinforced button holes and so much more! Please make sure that brother Rafique keeps all of the paperwork and has one of his daughters fill out the warranty card and send it to the company so that if it ever needs repair or replacement for certain problems, they'll have the best chance to have it covered. There are many, many videos on RU-vid showing how to use the machine and it's multitude of different functions. I know that I'm definitely more of a visual learner, which just means that I tend to learn more easily when I can actually see how things are done. Now... it's very important to put the model name and number of this particular machine in the search terms (Singer Fashion Mate 5560) when looking for any tutorials. There are several different models made by Singer and they'll want to be sure the instructional videos they're looking for are specific to that machine. I'm sure this will help to provide some ease for Mrs. Chaudhary and her daughters when it comes to any sewing tasks! What a wonderful gift from Ms. Hylen! She's a very generous and caring person! Great sewing machine. It does take patience. The real trick is to match the top stitch tension with the bottom stitch tension, so they interlock with a perfect stitch. It helps to use the same thread for both the threaded needle and the bobbin. Mine has the threading directions right on the machine, with arrows. Easy if you stick with it. Also, it is important to use the right needles for the right fabric.
Singer is one of the best of sewing machines. I hope his wife will get used to the computer programming of a modern sewing machine since she used to have a manual one.

That's an awesome idea, for some reason it made me think of the portable, non-electric clothes washing machine. I just found one for $5 at a garage sale and we are putting it at our cabin where there is no electricity.

I hope it works. Most people from America don't realized that the voltage in other country is 220 volts whilst 110 volts only in the US. Electronic will break once it's plug in, unless the electronic is built to be able to plug to both.
as someone who speaks both punjabi and english, chaudhary and the rest of the guys on this channel are genuinely so sincere and down to earth and the way the speak is coming from their heart, sometimes the translation doesn't do it justice but trust me they have a lot of love and their reactions are always genuine
I hope it's compatible with the wiring in his area, assuming he has access to electricity and can afford to pay the bills for it. And if so, I hope he can figure out how to use it.
Can we see his wife’s reaction?? The gift is for her !! I do hope his daughters will be able to help her figure out how to run the machine and that they can afford the electricity that will be required to run it. Unfortunately when they have one of their regularly happening power outages she will not be able to sew. And likely the giver‘s name was Helen ( not Hylen).
We should send her some nice fabrics for clothes with buttons, thread, zippers, clasps and patterns for dresses and pants and outfits. Especially wrinkle free fabric. And pins.
