We're in Jackson, WY with the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Diesel. It's GMC's half-ton pickup with terrific fuel economy. If you use your truck as an everyday commuter vehicle - or even just live out in the country and drive long distances, it's definitely worth a look. Wyoming is truck country, so we're right at home.

Just bought the 2023 High Country 3.0 Duramax in Northsky Blue. We love it! We took a 5000 mile road trip (literally right off the Dealer lot) from Arizona to New York and back. Zero issues. went through 12.5 Gallons of DEF, and got an average of 25.6 MPG with an average of 56 MPH (with 20-30mph headwinds 70-80% of the time.) Very comfortable, quiet, powerful and reliable. Tech is more than adequate.

I love my 2021 Silverado 1500 Duramax. The MPG is rated 22/26. I’m seeing more like 21 in the city with 27 highway, but up to 33 on flat ground if I’m keeping my speed around 65. Tows my 7000lb travel trailer like a champ getting around 14mpg with highway driving. It’s worth more now than I bought it for in March but there’s no chance of me selling it.

Im just realizing they exist. I've been researching them all week. Im in love with these I6 duramaxs. How many miles do you have? Do you know of anyone doing hundreds of thousands of miles yet? If these are reliable, im so buying one.

Thanks for the video! Was looking to get a new Denali with the 6.2L, but they're getting harder to find with a standard bed (at least by me). While I haven't test driven the 3L diesel yet, I do know a few people that love getting the same torque but better mileage.

He lost me at the "greenhouse gas enabler" at 13:00 since we need MORE CO2 into the atmosphere, not less. Irrespective of that, for this class of vehicle diesel is the way to go. So we'll just stick with that.

Nice truck, but for 2021 interior design looks very old, especially the screen and lots of front buttons, way outdated, ...15 yrs old screen.

I was at a dealer and there is no skids plates only on the engine and it to tin :( that’s all :( They need to put the interior from 2021 Yukon :) and electronic lockers to :( The GM it’s not off road truck it’s Country road truck LOL 😂 And there is no 2 inches lifting kit it’s level kit LOL , it hurts to knuckles and it’s made to be in the shop :( If you look carefully there is no difference then Denali & Sierra or AT4 :( only Rancho shocks junk and tiers LOL 😂 NO Dif Lockers no proper lift kit :( and cheep Shocks :((

Sadly of the 10,000 engineers working on this platform, apparently NONE of them were INTERIOR people. Great looking pickup...TERRIBLE interior. Especially for the money one must spend.

Come on man ask mechanical questions like the oil pump and how to acess the gear train and the expense in getting to it. I know gm can figure it out.
