"Hi sandman, I'm Erik the Red, friends call me red. though I'm very enthusiastic about the color red, I'm actually a purple piller. I'm 27 and have been in a relationship for about 7 years and am still entertained. I don't plan on marriage, and I have no interest in children. I'd say you're a god among mgtow! a true hero, and I for one admire ya. I suppose I'm donating for attention, but I also want to support the mgtow movement. Keep up the good work." Well Erik the red thanks for the donation. An I'm certainly no god among MGTOW but I will spend some time talking about one today. And that man is Ludwig Van Beethoven. He never married or had any children. He was a straight male and he would oftentimes fall in love with women that were unattainable. There is a blog entry called Beethoven And His Women and I'm putting it in the
description below. Beethoven always loved and cherished women but he just never got married. He found the sweet spot between being inspired by a woman as a muse and getting together with her and losing his mojo. A doctor that once treated Beethoven for ten years said that he had an interest in fragile and graceful women. Which are also the qualities his mother also had. So is it possible the Beethoven was suffering from male mother need or an Oedopis complex? I think that he was one of the most brilliant musicians that ever lived. And to think that it was probably hypergamy that eventually led him to become the great musician that he was. Beethoven is almost certainly a victim of hypergamy
because he moved around in aristocratic and noble circles his entire life, playing music and having them as a patron. Yet he wasn't an aristocrat but simply the son of a musician. He was born into the lower classes in a time where your background was far more important then today. And he kept falling in love over and over again with women that were from the upper classes. If it wasn't for female rejection then the world might not have been graced by his 5th Symphony which is considered by the list of the top one hundred classical songs to be at the top of the list. And the reason for that is because of his great innovations in this and other works. He was probably the main composer that helped bridge the gap between the classical and romantic periods or styles of music. He created the blueprint for an entire genre of music and changed the entire world.

Well this is a bit of a sad realization for me. I'm 24, never had a girlfriend (just rejections and being used) and I just started taking my red pills and seeings things for how they really are which has caused me alot of anger and depression because I now know that I won't really be able to get wonderful relationship that everyone seems to have. Don't get me wrong I know that more than likely some of these relationships arent what they appear to be but it's really hard to just walk away from something that you've been thinking about for years. I guess the only thing I can do now is try to find out how to transfer my sexual energy into making my ideas a reality without doing so just for the sake of one day getting that woman and relationship that I've fooled myself into thinking that I needed and wanted.

Sometimes not being able to fund a dowry can be a real blessing, like the life story of James Lick, who was driven to success in order to be able to impress a simple girl's over demanding father. Lick died a bachelor, and without the love of his life. Referred to as grasping and stingy while he was accumulating his wealth...during the final months of his life he was one of the most philanthropic men who ever lived...

Hey there--I'm a musician and have studied Beethoven pretty thoroughly, both his music and personal life. I've actually played two of his pianos in Europe. I'm not completely sure that Beethoven was a MGTOW. He would certainly have married if he had the chance--it was more a societal class issue with him; he never married because the women were outside his social class sphere. He gained custody of his nephew, and it did not turn out well.

Please, be careful when talking about people you can't comprehend. Bethoven was inspired by his own genius. His talent was the thing that made him work hard and give the world something really beautiful.You babble and think about women too much, and ironically - continue to overestimate their role...

As much as I'd like to believe he was a MGTOW, I think he was a TFLer given what you've described. As for having female muses, my question is: *why in the world would you want to have a friendzoned woman around to inspire you?* If you need a woman as a muse to get your creative juices flowing, you are striving to become the best you can be for the wrong reasons.

Doesn't matter how he got there, Beethoven got there. Let's see how many of you do not surrender to co-habitation in time. I'm willing to bet way more than 50%!
@CH-ef5ok
@CH-ef5ok 7 лет назад
Sandman, as regards your observation that cohabiting with a woman or being married saps the artistic creative energies of a man, do check up on the life of Franz Liszt (with Comtesse d'Agoult, born Marie Catherine Sophie de Flavigny ) and also the life of Jacques Offenbach. A wag once said that women inspire men to make masterpieces then prevent them from carrying them out. That, I think, is generally true. In the cases of Franz Liszt, however, the woman was exceptional. Perhaps it is a case of NAWALT.

Sandman thank you for your videos. I do not agree 100% with all your views yet find challenging and interesting what you have to say. I imagine you must take a lot of fire from doing what you do. Do- nothings are always trying to downplay Doers. Becoming aware and self-aware is the path of the individual who wants to have some impact on society. Keep the good job.

Rickard Dahl yes and he shot himself right afterwards. But just take alöök at his personal history. Violent father, overcaring mother, sole surviving boy, hopelessly in love with a jewish girl (Stephanie Rabatsch (Isak)), failed artist, homeless,draftdodger, off to war( four years at the Western Front), gassed, drug addict, This man was a victim that turned perpetrator. I do not defend what he has done, but he was not born the monster he eventually became. He was pounded and batterd on the anvil of life into the shape he ended up.

@nemonilnada5044
@nemonilnada5044 9 лет назад
Yes these are the eyes of a dead man in a living body. The eyes of a man whose love has turned into hatred. Mind you love and hatred are equally strong emotions. He was a loser in his young days, and he was desperately in love with an upper -middle class jewish girl. Her parents wold never have permitted a relation between them. That was when his heart was broken and he ran away to Germany. Then came the war and he sought death in the trenches of the Western Front but he survived all the four years because god is a sadist. But the man has stayed in the trenches. He returned as a carcass full of hatred for the society that had done this to him, and then he came into a position of absolute power.What came after we all know. I will not defend what he has done as I said before but if it really was like that I cann finally understand him.

I a big fan of classical music and my main hobby is actually playing the violin and viola. With that being said in my view, they are three other composers that are in the same elite league as Beethoven, these men are Bach, Beethoven and Brahms. To me Brahms biography is almost exactly as Beethoven because they were for a brief time infatuated with women that were married. And Brahms never had kids or got married. In terms of music his first symphony is nicknamed Beethoven 's tenth because the intellectual prowess and musical expression of pure genious and overwhelming emotions are all there. In fact Brahms referred to Bach, Beethoven and Mozart as musical God's. Mozart was an interesting composer because his wife Contanza had all the attribute of the illusive NAWALT. She devoted her life to her husband and supported his career. They are historians that claim that Mozart cheated and yet despite this, historical records indicate that Contanze never 're-married when Mozart died prematurely at 36 and in fact she helped solidify her husband legacy by promoting concerts of his music. A way in which she was able to provide for herself and two sons. Bach was a different story because he lived in a time that romanticism did not exist. In his lifetime he had two wife's and 19 children many of them died. The pain of death, his financial struggles and his love of God was his motivating factor for his greatness. His two wives were also NAWALTS Perhaps by social force because if Bach did not constantly produce masterpieces they would literally starve to death.
@Rickeeey1
@Rickeeey1 9 лет назад
Volatile Bliss Well, it's really Beethoven, J.S. Bach and W.A. Mozart that belong in the same league. They were quite different but certainly the three greatest musical geniuses who ever lived. Personally I don't like Brahms too much. Many composers I prefer over Brahms including Chopin, Shostakovich, Debussy, Vivaldi, Sibelius or even Bruckner.
