You done good keeping that find under wraps Levi. You gotta do what have to do in order to keep you and your family safe. You are kind of a celeberty now and likely have a few peoples interest. Some people have no since of value or self control. You did good but keeping that location and find to yourself until you could announce it proper like. You got a good head, smart. You'll do fine and go far. Remember, gold is found where you find it. No body needs to know where you found yours. Let them get of the couch and go adventure and prospect them some for themselves. She’s a beauty, Levi! That would definitely be a nugget due to the amount of Gold compared to quartz. Then again, I have never found a gold specimen, ever. Found silver specimens, definitely more rock than silver.

You have every right to keep that a secret Levi. My prospecting buddies in California showed a little to much of the area they were finding good gold at and now the place is picked absolutely clean by people who were able to pinpoint their location. Absolutely amazing man, I think I would faint if I found a chunk like that. Great job as always my friend.

Amazing nugget there mate. Would love to find something like that. The one problem with prospecting alone is that your mind wonders and you start thinking about things like your brother but that’s all you can do is carry on

Ripper vid Levi. There is no wasted time spent hiking/fossicking/paddling around Tassie, truely spectacular place no matter where you are. Levin Canyon look out was one of my favourites (can feel the gold down in the river there) Binalong bay/St Helens beautiful also but the mountains are calling me. Will be moving to Ulverstone by December , try leave some gold for me 😂 Cheers again for the vid was epic as always!

Hey Levi, nice find. I believe that little ounce and half jewel is called or refered to as a "Host Nugget" as it carries the host rock within it. Super nice find, very rare to find. Spectacular lump of speci gold! believe alluvial and elluvial gold when found with host mineral can be called a speci along with pure native crystal/wire forms and any piece that has been put on display. lol no wonder you kept that one to your self for so long! great vid!

Nice work, Levi. You’re having a good run of late. I kept looking at the land. It’s been 2 years since the fires went through, and while there’s a bit of regrowth, there looks to be a lot that is not going to recover. I went down there several years ago to help with fires south of Stanley and then again in feb 2019 working in remote spots like Nevada Peak, Mt Anne and Precipitous Bluff. So sad to see patches of dead ground down there. Hopefully it will fight back in the coming years and return to some semblance of its past beauty. Stay. safe and put some gloves on if you’re going to pick up random branches and litter. Don’t need a bite to take you off the gold for a while.
