In this video Gold nuggets detected on bedrock on an old mining lease!! We do some basic gold panning and prospecting for gold at Tasmania’s oldest gold fields. We try some different prospecting methods by using the minelab gold monster
1000 to narrow down our search for gold nuggets and larger pieces of gold.

Sometimes its not always about the gold its awesome to see the boys really like going out with you weather its hunting for gem stones its Panning, Crevicing, Metal Detecting they get right into it like their dad lol and .5 grams of gold is the bonus. Nice video. Not sure how much the family has seen of the mainland, but a big trip sounds like a chance to see some of the more arid areas. A change of scenery from Huon and Mountain Ash monsters. Chase some gemstones too. Have a great adventure!

Gee wiz Chris is looking more like you every time I see him. The best days of our lives are spent like this. Your a supper dad. I use a battery vac when doing this type of digging, its a tip I got from DAN. It works really well. Nothing is missed off the bed rock.

Yeh I don’t do a great deal of panning I usually find sniping a lot more affective but with school holidays on it was something I could take the boy doing that he’d enjoy waters to cold for him at the moment. He’s learnt fast 😁👍🏼

When you come over to the main land you should try and catch up with Lockie from LDCgold, hes a beast with the gold monster, Im sure youve seen his channel. Thanks for sharing mate. A little trick I use to speed up while working like you did, scoop your signals and dump them in the pan... find as many as possible then pan it all down for a awesome pan every time its full.
