In the Black Ops 6 trailer, you saw a guy in a police uniform he is a new character named Troy Marshall. He is Frank Woods' protégé and works closely with him throughout the game. Another significant character is Jane Harrow, a blonde CIA handler who plays a crucial role in the storyline that you saw. The trailer also introduces a new movement system called Omnimovement which you saw in the trailer on a train. This innovative feature allows players to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction, including forward, sideways, and backward. This new gameplay mechanic was detailed during the Xbox showcase. RU-vidr Inkslasher, who was invited to Treyarch, provided additional insights into the trailer. He explained that the casino scene involves Adler and his team executing a daring heist with the help of some criminals they have aligned with. This heist is a key part of the game's plot. In another part of the trailer, you saw a American building at night, Adler on a bike, and a gala event. According to Inkslasher, these scenes are all part of the same mission within the campaign. Set in Washington, D.C., the mission's objective is to infiltrate a capital station beneath the gala to rescue Adler, who has been captured and is being held in a black site facility. The mission offers multiple ways to achieve the objective, reminiscent of the KGB mission in the Cold War game, but in this mission players can choose between blackmail or going undercover as a journalist. The choices players make will determine how they access the black site and rescue Adler, ultimately leading to an escape sequence on bikes.

Gotta love when Call of Duty takes a few steps back story-wise. Also we're gonna go though the gulf war!? HELL YEAH!!! I can't wait for your playthrough of this!

I'm so happy that this game is a sequel to Black Ops 2's 1980's missions and Cold War.

Looking back at the russian base during winter while using the minigun on the helicopter, this probably is Vorkuta Camp, the same one from Black Ops 1. It's more clearly seen in Black Ops Direct, and when you compare the two main squares in both the trailer and BO1, and also compare the mining crane that is also seen in the Direct, it's pretty easy to assume where it is. There are some differences of course, such as some additional buildings here and there, but the layout from the locations that were seen, as well as 3 buildings that look the same in both games makes me believe this is Vorkuta. And it was also said to be set in Northern Russia, which supports this theory since the Vorkuta from BO1 was also set in Northern Russia.

I actually have high hopes for bo6 since treyarch had a lot of time to make it

the casino heist mission takes place in Europe from what developers said in the black ops 6 direct and some missions will be more open world apparently with multiple objectives where you can choose in what order to do them

Will you play BO2 in preparation for this game like you did with BO1 for Cold War I think you would like the 1980s flashbacks in Angola, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, and Panama

There’s a mission where your attached to SAS hunting Scuds. So could see MacMillan or even a young Price. For people who don’t know the SAS in the Gulf was notorious for hunting Scud launchers near the MSR. They would be dropped off in Jeeps and be living behind enemy lines huntings Scuds an Iraq commanders weeks at time. They was nicked named “SCUD Busters” or the the famous “Desert Rats”. Check out the books “Bravo Two Zero” “The one left behind” there’s a movie called Bravo Two Zero too. A mission went wrong when they ran into a mechanised Unit. One of the SAS operators ended up walking miles to get to the boarder. Crazy story.

So Adler did survive in Cold War, so Bell didn't survive in either ending in the campaign cause Adler was in the phone booth in the cutscene

You should play Cod waw, bo1, and bo2 before this game comes out. And also I disagree with you about Hudson's death in cod black ops 2 because unlike soap from the mw2023 campaign it was sad and meaningful.

Considering I played Cold War and Black Ops 1. this game will be really good and I hope the story will be more decent and consider that Adler is returning. this will be interesting how they expand on Adler's arc in Black Ops 6 since Cold War

A new cod that not only takes place from an actual event or war but actually keeps it historically accurate. No random made up characters or some special ops either just a regular grunt, maybe even have real veterans from the war tell their story during the events and we play thru their stories

You gotta make a Black Ops 2 playthrough before Black Ops 6 releases

The only futuristic CoD that I liked was Black Ops 2, being also my favorite Call of Duty of all time. Primarily because of the campaign. The option to customize your gear in every mission, finding side objectives to unlock more unique weapons to use, the multiple choices and endings and the story despite of beong futuristic, it was pretty well designed and executed, combining also a few mission from the actual cold war, after the events of Black Ops 1. I also loved the character of David "Section" (Mason's son). I was kind of worried that he was going to be some kind of "papa's boy" trying to be exactly like his father, but without being so memorable like him. But Section showed that he had his own charm and unique personality, but still having quite similar motivations and moral codes like Alex Mason, and with his own unique backstory. It's really a big shame that Treyarch never continued expanding the story of Section, just like they did with Mason and Woods. And the main antagonist, Raul Menendez is probably one of the best CoD antagonist, being superb than Dragochiv and Kravchenko, and probably even close as good like the OG Makarov. But unlike Makarov, who was more of an evil psychopath who wanted to destroyed the world with a third world war, Menendez was a more complex antagonist. When you heard his background and motivations, like loosing her crippled sister because of Woods, you can feel bad for him, despite the bad things that he was doing before and after that.

"Cold War" was a cool game and your cosplays are always on point. I agree, Treyarch games usually have something more in their campaign stories. I feel like the narration is more grounded and has a bit more detail to it. It's like they actually want to tell you something, not just give you the "Michael Bay" over-the-top action.

In the black ops direct they did confirm one mission that takes place in an open map HOWEVER, unlike MWIII this map was designed and is exclusive to campaign, and from the way they described it, it feels like that mission will play out like one of the story lines from Battlefield V

TheProfessional, as a Black Ops fan, my reason for why I thought Cold War was disappointing was because it was coming off of Modern Warfare 2019, which was one of the most realistic, gritty, grounded and well written CoDs since World at War while Cold War was pretty soft, had very little resemblance of real life events like the other BO games (and even MW19), it ran on an inferior engine, the BO characters didn't quite feel like themselves and were kinda pointless. It was neat but wasn't anything too special aside from the bad ending imo. BO6 I hope brings Black Ops back to it's roots and have some fictional gunfights here and there but a lot of it set in real battles like the Gulf War, in a grounded way.

I thought though Cold War would be a good COD... I was mistaken.

MW23 was actually developed mainly by Sledgehammer Games, given very short notice by Activision, like over a year. And yeah, I actually really liked CW's campaign
